I'm addicted to 80s music. Discovering gem after gem. I might be imagining it but the melodies in 80s music are so much stronger more identifiable than songs today.

I would love to see Roddy playing live again. He wrote all his own songs and music, and that guitar solo at 2.38 is him, not some session musician. The "Love Album" was out-and-out attempt break mainstream and break America too. Sadly it didn't work out that way - fortunately, Roddy went on to record many albums which were truer to his soul. For me his landmark return with "Stray" just demonstrated the range of the mans talents - at ease with jazz, blue, out-and-out rock and edgy social commentary. If you reading this Roddy - please tour again :)
