In my head, in my heart, in my soul. And maybe we'll get lucky and we'll both live again. Well I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Don't think so. Well that is that and this is this. You tell me what you want and I'll tell you what you get. You get away from me. You get away from me. Collected my belongings and I left the jail. Well thanks for the time, I needed to think a spell. I had to think awhile. I had to think awhile. The ocean breathes salty, won't you carry it in? In your head, in your mouth, in your soul. And maybe we'll get lucky and we'll both grow old. Well I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I hope so. Well that is that and this is this. You tell me what you want and I'll tell you what you get. You get away from me. You get away from me. Collected my belongings and I left the jail. Well thanks for the time, I needed to think a spell. I had to think awhile. I had to think awhile. Well that is that and this is this. Will you tell me what you saw and I'll tell you what you missed, when the ocean met the sky. You missed when time and life shook hands and said goodbye. When the earth folded in on itself.

Why is Ocean water Salty? | #aumsum #kids #ocean #water #salty
Several natural processes make ocean water salty. For example, when it rains, the water droplets react with carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and form carbonic acid, making rainwater slightly acidic. This acidic rainwater reacts with minerals present in the rocks and forms new minerals and salts. This acidic rainwater reacts with minerals present in the rocks and form new minerals and salts. These minerals and salts are then carried by flowing water to the oceans, thus making the ocean water salty. In addition to this, along the mid-ocean ridges, magma rises close to the oceanic crust. Here, when the salty ocean water seeps into the earth's crust, it gets hot due to magma. This hot water dissolves more minerals present in the crust and carries them to the oceans through fissures called hydrothermal vents, thus making the ocean water salty. Salty sea air, Let's Play Call of Cthulu 2018, Episode 5
Join me for sanity shattering adventures in a world where humanity is so insignificant in the grand scheme of things (the alien grand schemes of elder gods) that, for a human to even begin to realise how irrelevant they are, would drive them insane. Call of Cthulu is a cult classic among gamers. While the original Call of Cthulu roleplaying game first appeared in the 70's Lovecraft's writing itself goes back further still. In this adventure we play a struggling detective in 1924. Shell shocked, down on his luck, and trying desperately to stay afloat, let's see what kind of case can come his way to keep him from drifting off into madness on a tide of insanity.

Farming With Salty Water Is Possible
One of the many adverse effects of global climate change is the rise of sea levels, which scientists say can increase the salinity level of fresh water reserves. As saline water cannot be used for irrigation, farm fields close to the seashore are lost to agriculture. But a farm in Netherlands has managed to grow healthy and tasty vegetables in soil irrigated with salt water. VOA’s George Putic reports. Kat ORIGINAL SONG "The Salty Sea"
Me singing my original song "The Salty Sea" Sorry you can't hear my finger picking too well... Let me know what you think! LYRICS: V1: He appeared in a flash of sunlight and sea air Love burned fast and deep into my skin Our love was our ship, built strong and fair Our feelings quickly ushered in. V2: Reluctantly, tears spilled from my eyes one day Coaxing, safe, he wanted more from me I thought love had come to stay Now he blames it on the salty sea C1: Blame it on the sea I'm left alone with only waves To comfort me Still, he blames it on the sea V3: For reason I do not understand "We're growing apart", says he Now he travels to another land He blames it on the salty sea C2: Blame it on the sea I'm left alone with only waves They're scaring me Still, he blames it on the sea V4: The arms I sought, the familiar embrace To soothe the waters that traced my face I feel the salt fill and sting my eyes But he says its not paradise C3: Blame it on the sea He's left me to the rocking waves They're drowning me Still, he blames it on the sea

More from TodayIFoundOut: Why Don't Fire Hydrants Freeze and Burst During Winter? https://youtu.be/25J2c-9rXwA In this video: Most sea salts come from water-caused erosion, whereby rivers ultimately carry the dissolved salts to the oceans. Absent a few key processes, the ocean’s salinity would continuously increase; however, there are several mechanisms, called “salt sinks,” that help remove salts from the oceans at pretty much exactly the same rate as they are added. Enjoying the health benefits of salty sea air 4hrs away from the ocean
Today Germans still visit this 300 year old facility in Rhein Hessen originally created to concentrate salty spring water (and collect salt) because just walking between the evaporation structures is relaxing and you get the sense of inhaling salty sea water. The air and the whole experience is thought to be very healthy, people who are sick with chronic lung conditions and other ailments are sent here by their doctors as part of their treatment. I was there on a February weekend with my friends who live in the area and even though it was too cold for the water to be flowing, I could smell the salt in the air and lots of people were strolling and rollerblading in the area. They said it is much busier in the summer! If you like this, check out the other videos I did on this trip about sulfur baths and German saunas :)

Opinion: Salty Sea Air Cures all Lung Congestion Issues
However, if there is lung pollution from a nearby city present, then the sea air can't help much. Otherwise, the salt does a good job of purging the bad bacteria and viruses from your lungs. I noticed the difference when I drove from Wisconsin to Washington. I have been sleeping in my car every day for a year, and when I first started out sleeping in my car, my lungs had a harder time draining fluids out. When you sleep in the sitting up position, gravity works against the lungs. I never experienced such a lung congestion before in my life. I was scared and confused. But then I thought about what could possibly be causing me problems. I came to the conclusion that my problem was probably from a lack of air quality. So, I cracked open some windows in my car and that seemed to relieve the ling congestion a lot better. So, ultimately, the air quality problem turned around when I improved the circulation breeze. When I decided to move to Washington, well not actually move, since I had no intention of living anywhere, I was a little worried that I would experience worse breathing problems from the extra amount of moisture. However, my lung vulnerability didn't get any worse. Even though the moisture is much worse in Northwestern Washington, my lungs have been able to maintain their resolve. I would like to credit the salty sea air to prevention. Sea air is just what my lungs needed to ward off the evils of pneumonia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_therapy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cystic_fibrosis

Why is sea water salty?
Have you ever wondered why is sea water or ocean water salty and from where do these salts come from? The salt in the ocean comes from the rocks on the land. The rain that falls on the land contains some dissolved carbon dioxide from the surrounding air. This causes rain water to be slightly acidic due to carbonic acid, which forms when carbon dioxide and water mix with each other. Connecting That Salty Sea Smell and Climate Change - ACS Headline Science
There’s nothing like the smell of salty sea air over summer vacation. But instead of frolicking on the beach, a group of chemists is researching the compounds inside that air. Sea spray aerosols (SSAs) are created with every breaking wave. Kimberly Prather, Ph.D., Timothy Bertram and their teams have discovered in research published in ACS Central Science that SSAs have a huge impact on the planet’s climate. Want to learn more? I Love The Salty Sea Air at Mission Beach, California
Enjoying my time at Mission Beach. If your looking for that hot spot, full of action, dining, shopping get ready to party Beach. Mission Beach is that spot for you. With the bustling boardwalk to the fine dining and shopping "Hamels" being one of the oldest shops a true national landmark and Belmont Park full of rides, games. Our Rooler Coaster is one of the oldest and largest ones around the main attraction of Belmont Park. (Belmont Park is getting an upgrade they are brining back "The Plunge" an indoor swimming pool that you can watch people swim and a few other old time places are coming back. They want to fix it up how it used to be way back in the day. I think it's an awesome Idea. I miss the old Belmont Park and can't wait to see it's new bright beginning. There is so much to do here. Endless fun in the sun at the Beach. However, Mission Beach can be quite crowded with not enough parking spaces to go around. You must get there early to find a good spot. Sometimes people resort to parking across the street at the Bay. There is much more parking there but still on a busy day you could be waiting about 45 min for a spot depending on what time you go. If you would like to go later on in the day 7:45pm is about the best time to go. The early birds start leaving and a few late nighters come in but for the most part it starts clearing out a bit. In the Summer it's still light out so you can still enjoy the view of the ocean and Belmont Park stays open late. So the fun and excitement is not over yet. Mission Beach doesn't get a ton of surfers, it's more for swimmers, some families and Beach bunnies. You see a lot of men and woman trying to show off their hot bodies and swimsuits. Although, it has changed a bit in the last few years becoming more family orientated. The waves are perfect size waves. very pretty, foamy, bubbly lovely to watch and play in. They come from all different directions but be careful with small children, sometimes the rip current here drags them in and you can get clobbered by a way. With long stretch of Beach. You can walk all the way from Mission to Pacific Beach. It's a nice but very long walk. Great for a good scenic workout. Mission Beach is one of San Diego's more cleaner Beaches. The water changes it's color depending on when you go. the sunsets are beautiful. One thing I will add is the smell of the ocean, that fishy salty sea air is very strong here. It's one of the reasons I love Mission Beach so much. No other Beach around quite has that smell. Some of the other Beaches you don't smell anything at all. Put Himalayan Salt Lamp In Your Bedroom And This Will Happen
You don’t know what you’re missing if you’ve never owned a Himalayan salt lamp. It’s like having an open window – a softly glowing natural source of fresh, clean air – on your desk, in your living room, next to the bed, or anywhere you choose to put it. Himalayan salt lamps are made from pure, food grade, Himalayan salt crystals and can even be powdered to use as salt in recipes if needed. These beautiful lamps have gained massive popularity recently and there are many benefits attributed to them. Here are some of the most popular benefits of using Himalayan salt lamp. 1.Neutralize Electromagnetic Radiation. Everyday appliances such as televisions, cell phones, computers and tablets release positive ions into the air constantly. These and other common electronics can cause an overflow of electromagnetic radiation which, although invisible, is believed to cause some serious long-term effects. Constant exposure to electromagnetic radiation is known primarily to cause fatigue, increase stress and weaken the immune system. Himalayan salt lamps emit negative ions and cancel out positive ones. Therefore, by neutralizing electromagnetic-radiation, they help reduce artificial frequencies and even prevent static buildup. 2.Cleanse, Deodorize, and Purify Air. Himalayan pink salt lamps help clean the air through an operation called Hygroscopy, which attracts and absorbs contaminated water molecules from the immediate environment and locks them into the salt crystal. The process has the amazing ability to remove cigarette smoke, dust and other contaminants from the air. This benefit is particularly popular, as salty air acts as an overall health booster and can help clear the air passages. 3.Better Sleep. Over-exposure to positive ions reduces the brain’s blood and oxygen supply, which can lead to irregular sleeping patterns. The negative ions from a Himalayan salt lamp are said to reverse this effect, making them a popular sleep-aid. Also, in direct relation to chromotherapy, the soothing light can help people who suffer from insomnia. Plants too can help. 4.Raise Energy Levels. Positive ions deplete the body of energy, and it is believed that Himalayan salt lamps can actually do the opposite. The negative ions increase energy levels, which yields a refreshing effect similar to the feeling of rejuvenation achieved from spending time in nature.  5.Boost Blood Flow. Particular studies have suggested that negative ions, such as those emitted by Himalayan salt lamps, can accelerate blood flow. This boost helps to improve several disorders of the vascular system and can prevent certain damage to the lungs.  6.Enhance Mood. Many studies suggest that negative ions improve mood and energy levels by increasing serotonin in the brain. Therefore, Himalayan salt lamps can benefit people suffering from seasonal affective disorder and other forms of depression.  When it comes to buying Himalayan pink salt lamps, coverage is determined by the size of the crystal. Smaller lamps are good for the average bedroom, while larger lamp are better for spaces like the living room or den. On average, 1 lb of Himalayan Pink Salt crystal will cleanse the air in approximately a 4′ x 4′ area. Salt Air - Cape Reinga Fly/Drive By Fixed Wing Aeroplane
The initial stage of the tour consists of a flight up to Cape Reinga via Northlands spectacular harbours, such as the Whangaroa Harbour and the Rangaunu Harbour. We also pass across some beautiful beaches such as Coopers Beach, Doubtless Bay and of course the famous Ninety Mile Beach. From Ninety Mile Beach we then fly inland where we land at our airfield, which is only 20km from the Cape Reinga lighthouse. Once on the ground a comfortable air-conditioned mini-bus will meet the aircraft. It will take you on a 2½ hour tour around the top of New Zealand. After a 20 minute drive, we reach the Cape Reinga Lighthouse where the Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean. Our local guide will accompany you on your walk to the lighthouse, sharing the myths and legends or this very spiritual area. We then rejoin the vehicle for a short drive to Tapotupotu Bay where we enjoy a freshly baked light refreshment. There is time for a stroll on the beach, and a quick swim if desired, then we move across to the Te Paki quicksand stream with its giant sand dunes; (we have sleds available for those who wish to experience the exhilaration of sliding down the sand dunes and try some "sand surfing"). The return flight to the Bay of Islands includes some of the most spectacular coastal scenery Northland has to offer. You will fly over the Parengarenga Harbour and Great Exhibition Bay, which are only visible by air or by sea. This area is very remote and without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand with it's pure white silica sand and crystal clear water. The flight also passes across the Houhora Harbour, the Cavalli islands, Kauri Cliff's golf course and the spectacular Bay of Islands. *Please note all departures are subject to weather and minimum 2 passengers. Two departures daily morning and afternoon from October-mid April. One departure daily late April-September Note: winter itinerary may vary from above dependant on weather conditions. Price: NZ$ 395 p.p. (Includes return flight, ground tour, morning or afternoon tea and GST)

Salton Sea Documentary 2015: California's Sea: A Date With Destiny
Amidst the nationwide focus on the drought in California, a major environmental and public health concern has once again been set in the shadow for the law makers of Sacramento. But for the Salton Sea - California’s largest lake and home to more than 425 bird species on the pacific flyway, time is running out. Time is ticking until 2017, when water allocations in accordance with the Quantification Settlement Agreement (2003) are significantly reduced and directly affect the Salton Sea. The Salton Sea is already more than 25% saltier than the Pacific Ocean, and with reduced water and rising salinity this region will no longer be able to support environmental life. To make matters worse, as the water level reduces and exposes years of agricultural runoff, giant dust storms have the potential to plague areas as far as Los Angeles, San Diego, and Northern Mexico. This surrounding region already has some of the worst rates of asthma in the state, and the socioeconomic suppressed immigrant working communities are suffering and have nowhere to move. This issue is not just about international bird populations and the environment, its about social justice, and rights to clean air. California is running out of time after decades of political indecisiveness and costly studies, something has to be done now to “Save Our Sea”. A short film project by Alex Cooke & Chris Norwood from Pitzer College Spring 2015.
