Then you can finally enjoy watercolor. ❖ Music Hills Behind by Silent Partner Bet On It by Silent Partner ❖ Watercolor brushes There are many people who ask me which brushes are the preferred brushes to use for beginners. - My answer to them is that all the brushes are great to use and compliment each other. My brushes are not expensive to purchase, they cost around $1-4 USD, some prices may vary on the different brushes used duo to special use of each brush. Remember that with each brush you use you will have a different experience and a range of different feeling. The important thing is that you and the brush work as one to find the balance between creation and skill. The artist's hand is very important in making the painting and to feel the way the water on the brush moves as the brush creates the ultimate master piece. ❖Improve your painting skills Sometimes people ask me that they've been painting for months, but they think nothing improved. - Well, I want to say that I have been painted for 15 years and I enjoy my painting every moment. If you enjoy your painting, that is the right way to go forward. Don't be hurry. You just need time. Now you keep improving your painting skill. ❖ E-mail : [email protected] ( If you have any questions please feel free to contact me ) ........................................................

Half Barbie Half Zombie Makeup Tutorial This is my first makeup tutorial and my entry for the Make-Up Artist magazine Giving Back Scholarship contest. I have decided to make a combination between my 2 favorite forms of makeup - glamour and special effects and I chose to be my own model and create the look on myself. For this look I chose to make a combination between Barbie and Zombie or Beauty vs Beast - 2 opposites - and drag a line between good and evil. If you liked the result, don't forget to thumbs up my video! :) Thank you for watching! WILLIAM WRAY : SUPERHERO

03:07
A Film by Eric Minh Swenson. Music by Chris Waters. After, a Nomadic childhood traveling the world (including Hong Kong) with his military family, William Wray began working in the animation business as a teen-ager eventually enrolling in The Art Students League in New York to study fine art in the academic tradition. Uninspired by the conceptually dominated fine art world of the eighties, William went back to work in comic books, animation and illustration we he felt his drawing ability was valued. He is best known for his painting style on the Ren and Stimpy Show, directing cartoons and his work in Mad Magazine. William has always jumped back and fourth in the world of animation and comic books, now fine art is in that mix. After a concentrated series of oil painting workshops over the last 10 years and a maturing reformation of his realistic art style, William is influencing the current urban trend in fine art. William is living his theory that a realistic artist can make the best kind of abstract painter if they just loosen up enough while retaining a strong ability to draw and stylize. William has spent many years stripping away all his rendering ability into a more abstract style, panting the humble urban landscape subjects of California that he grew up with. William has four monographs of his paintings entitled "Dirty Beauty," "Sparrow" "Cult of Beauty and Monolith. A fifth featuring his new Superhero paintings will be out in 2014. William is a signature member the California Art Club. In 2008 William had a one-man show at the Bakersfield Museum of art and a second in Dec 2012. William has 5 art galleries: Launch gallery in Los Angles, Cohen/ Abee gallery in SF, the Vault Gallery in Cambria, Ca, and Q art Salon in Santa Anna, Ca. Profiled in July 2008 American Art Collector, The Artist Magazine March 2008 and the July '09 Southwest Art. Some of William's contest wins: Placed: 2008,2009 Ray Mar contest, Grand prizewinner: Paintings Finalist: Art Kudos International Art competition. Honorable Mention: LAPAPA Best of Plein Air 2008_Artist Choice Award: San Luis Obispo Plein Air Festival 2006_First place: Art Interview Magazine: Second Quarter 2005and 2010_Second place: 1st Annual 2005 Riverside Plein Air Paint-out. FineArtViews Art Competition repeated wins and place 2009 and 2010. 2011 First Place Urban Award California Art Club. Williams's latest shows are big show with Ashley Wood at the 3A Gallery In Hong Kong at the end of April 2012 and as part of a 4-man show at the Q Art Salon in May 2012. And a one- man show at launch gallery in spring of 2013 that nearly sold out. Scores of media interviewers asked, "What can she possibly do as a follow up to her film career?" She hasn't disappointed them. Already she has become one of the most celebrated portrait artists of our time. Ariana's list of exhibitions includes museum and solo shows. She counts among her collectors local and international corporations. Currently residing in Oregon, she is quickly becoming known for her evocative portraits and figure paintings as well as her landscapes and still-life paintings. An award-winning young artist, her magazine credits include feature articles in Art of the West, Southwest Art, People magazine and American Artist magazine, where you can see her work on their cover. Ariana's painting awards include receiving 1st place in the National Oil Painting Competition sponsored by American Artist magazine, People's Choice Award at the Wine Country Exhibition at Napa, and Art of the West's Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence in the Western Regional Competition sponsored by Oil Painters of America.

Watch This Sand Art Competition

02:36
Sand sculpting pros from the U.S., Singapore and Canada wowed crowds with intricate, thought-provoking creations at the third annual International Sand Art Competition, held on the Atlantic Ocean beach of Key West's Casa Marina Resort in the Florida Keys. Each artist in the Thanksgiving weekend challenge received more than 15,000 pounds of sand -- and were required to create their sculptures from only sand and water, using a few simple hand tools like trowels and brushes. "A lot of these artists are just world-class phenomenal, and they've taken it from your everyday sand castle to ephemeral art -- real, full-on modern art that could be in a gallery anywhere," said competitor Rusty Croft, who has been carving sand professionally for 19 years. Sculptures ranged from Morgan Rudluff's shattered female figure and external heart, a commentary on heartbreak and healing, to Croft's "Out to Lunch," contrasting early 20th-century American steel workers' lunch breaks and contemporary people's preoccupation with their cell phones instead of living in the moment. Croft said he enjoyed sand as a medium for his sculpture because of the near-universal connection it creates with viewers. "Everybody has played in sand at some point in their life, so it's kind of in us all as an artistic medium," he said. Events run through Sunday, when aspiring artists can test their skills in an amateur sand-sculpting contest -- while surrounded and inspired by the professionals' creations.

Optical Glass Sculptures by fine art glass artist Jack Storms - The Glass Sculptor

08:50
This video will tell you all about the cold glass process I use to make my work. I hope you enjoy it and please share if you do! Website: http://www.jackstorms.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/stormsart Twitter: https://twitter.com/jackhstorms Instagram: http://instagram.com/stormsjack Both a tremendous athlete and a motivated student growing up in New Hampshire, it wasn’t until later in life that Jack discovered his passions in contemporary art and graduated at age 30 from Plymouth State University with a BA in Art focusing primarily on studio production. It was during his junior year there that he happened upon what would eventually become an entryway to his legacy, the studio of a glass artist that was close to his school where he was producing a phenomenally rare style of glass art work combining lead crystal and dichroic glass using a cold-glass process. The process itself which required several weeks to produce even one completed glass sculpture was incredibly intense and physically challenging, and the number of glass artisans working in this form of fine art could be counted on one hand. Working side by side with the artisan for over a year, Jack learned every component and facet of this incredibly challenging and rare art form and eventually was a strong enough sculptor to branch out on his own in 2004 and open Storm Works Studios. Both challenged and inspired by having been told that his vision was impossible, one of Jack’s first major accomplishments as an independent glass artist was to invent and design a cold-working lathe that offers him the ability to turn glass and sculpt shapes with curves and details like one would produce from a wooden medium. Early memories of studying his father’s craftsmanship as he worked for hours in his own studio with a wooden lathe provided him with the blueprint of his vision, and his intense drive and deeply embedded passion as a glass artist combined with the inspiration that came from the idea of pioneering new trails in the world of fine art motivated him toward this remarkable accomplishment. The intense cold-glass process which can take up to 24 weeks for each contemporary glass sculpture to come to life begins at the heart of the design, by creating a core of lead crystal which is cut, polished and laminated creating reflective mirrors. When wrapped in optical glass, the refraction of light as it passes through the glass creates rainbows of hypnotic color. The drawn out process of repetitive cutting, grinding and polishing requires intense passion, rigid self discipline, and more blood sweat and tears than any artisan could wrap their mind around. The results, are mind boggling works of contemporary glass art. Drawing inspiration from both his heart and his mind when conceiving his artistic designs, at the heart of each lead crystal sculpture by Jack Storms lays the theory of Fibonacci, a great mathematician that articulated the natural math seen in nature. Natural beauty is created, not manufactured. From the repetition florets of a flower to the scales of a pineapple’s skin, Fibonacci numbers are found in the pattern of growth of every living thing in nature. In spite of the intense natural talent born to Jack’s very talented hands, it was only a couple of years after the opening of Storm Works Studios that Jack found himself desperately seeking some amazing source of inspiration to keep him producing his incredibly beautiful and artistically brilliant glass sculptures. It was in true fairytale love story form that the serendipitous hand of fate brought him a beautiful princess that would rescue him from himself. True love brought Jack to his wife Vivian, and Vivian brought Jack through his stormy weather helping him find his inspiration again, and jumping in feet first to completely support Jack’s dreams and everything that meant to StormWorks Studio’s allowing Jack’s glass studio to flourish. A match made in heaven, Jack and Vivian married and brought their son Owen into the world. Jack’s complex heart and deeply rooted emotions make him an exemplary caretaker for his family, who are the driving force behind his creative inspiration. Only one muse inspired glass sculpture in Jack’s collection, the Viviovo sculpture beams with radiant light and colors from within having been modeled after the intense beauty and fire burning within his wife Vivian.

Paint the Sunset with me

04:55
Hey everyone, This is a very different type of video. I recently took up painting again and some of you requested a Speed Painting video so here it is. Sit back, enjoy the music and paint with little Bubz. This is my 3rd painting lesson with Tim Gagnon. He is a fellow Youtuber and amazing artist. I found him a week ago and have been OBSESSED with his painting techniques. His passion inspires me so much and I'm learning so much from him right now. I'm currently taking the Misty Forests lessons from his website http://www.timgagnonstudio.com/lessons You guys can check out his Youtube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/Gagnonstudio I'm sharing his channel and website because I'm learning so much from him and sharing the joy. I'm not paid by this or anything. I just think he's great and deserves to be known more. I know a lot of you guys are aspiring artists out there and I know Tim would teach amazing things to you all like I did. For 2012, I decided to take up painting for one of my resolutions. I loved painting as a child. I was obsessed with art because I can go anywhere through my drawings. It freed me because it allowed me to escape from the busy World. As I get older, I really realize that the simplest things make me happiest. Sometimes, I feel like the World moves too fast for me. Almost 8 years after High School, I plucked up courage to paint again. Painting somehow slows down time for me because it allows me to be 100% focused on the painting. You guys can read my diary post http://bubzbeauty.com/diary/235-painting-with-passion-again.html for my painting story. I hope it also inspires you guys to go back to your passions. I know we can become occupied with life but really, this has given me back lots of meaning in my life again. I don't think people realize how short life really is so do all the things you want to do that inspires you while you can. Make the most out of it. I'm still learning from Tim right now (You guys should see his original painting of the one I did lol, it's like...breathtaking!!!). It will be a while for me to be as skillful (or if not, half as skillful) as he is. But one day, I would love to give away one of my paintings to you guys as a gesture. If I ever hit 1 million subscribers- that would be such a special thing to do. Some of you mentioned I can auction a painting and put the money to charity. That's a great idea but it makes me nervous. It'll be a fun and good cause and I'll work hard practicing for that day. Ps. Music "Path of Wind" orchestra version from my fav Studio Ghibli anime "Totoro". Nostalgic!! and also "From the Inside out" instrumental from Hillsong. Have a great day, Much love, Bubz xx Check out the Bubzbeauty Official Website.
