Deepest Part of The Oceans - Full Documentary HD

44:54
Measuring the Greatest Ocean Depth The Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench is the deepest known point in Earth's oceans. In 2010 the United States Center for Coastal & Ocean Mapping measured the depth of the Challenger Deep at 10,994 meters (36,070 feet) below sea level with an estimated vertical accuracy of ± 40 meters. If Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth, were placed at this location it would be covered by over one mile of water. The first depth measurements in the Mariana Trench were made by the British survey ship HMS Challenger, which was used by the Royal Navy in 1875 to conduct research in the trench. The greatest depth that they recorded at that time was 8,184 meters (26,850 feet). In 1951, another Royal Navy vessel, also named the "HMS Challenger," returned to the area for additional measurements. They discovered an even deeper location with a depth of 10,900 meters (35,760 feet) determined by echo sounding. The Challenger Deep was named after the Royal Navy vessel that made these measurements. In 2009, sonar mapping done by researchers aboard the RV Kilo Moana, operated by the University of Hawaii, determined the depth to be 10,971 meters (35,994 feet) with a potential error of ± 22 meters. The most recent measurement, done in 2010, is the 10,994 meter ( ± 40 meter accuracy) depth reported at the top of this article, measured by the United States Center for Coastal & Ocean Mapping.

Most Amazing Cities Found UNDERWATER!

11:48
Here is the top list of mysterious sunken underwater cities in the world found underwater! These strange and mindblowing but also amazing forgotten ancient underwater ruins are located deep into the ocean. Check out Alexandria, City of Cuba, Yonaguni, Lake Titicaca, Pavlopetri, Lion City, Heracleion and more underwater cities! Subscribe For New Videos! http://goo.gl/UIzLeB Watch our "6 LOST Cities Around The World!" video here: https://youtu.be/0Jx6OToOXos Watch our "World's Most Dangerous And Beautiful Sinkholes!" video here: https://youtu.be/Cp5S6WWZsWc Watch our "Top AMAZING Facts About Planet Earth!" video here: https://youtu.be/2bo0p7ndMZY 1. Yonaguni Pyramids In the mid 80s, Divers found underwater rock terraces and pyramids off the coast of Yonaguni Jima. Yonaguni Jima is an island that lies near the southern tip of Japan's Ryukyu archipelago, About 75 miles off the eastern coast of Taiwan. At first scientists believed they might be natural formations, but There are quarry marks and some writing on the stones and animal statues that have also been found underwater. Now some experts believe that The structures Could be what is left of the mythical city of Mu, a fabled Pacific civilization rumored to have vanished beneath the waves. Masaki Kimura, a marine geologist from the University of Japan, Has been studying the underwater pyramids for over 15 years. The underwater structures include castle ruins, a triumphal arch, five temples and at least one large stadium, all of which are Connected by roads and water channels and are partly shielded by what could be huge retaining walls. Kimura believes the ruins date back to at least 5,000 years, based on the dates of stalactites found inside underwater caves that he says sank with the city. The theory is that the ancient underwater city Might have been sunk by an earthquake or tsunami around 2,000 years ago. Yonaguni invites tourists and researchers to dive freely around the site. 2. Sunken City of Cuba In 2001, A company called Advanced Digital Communications (ADC) was working with Fidel Castro's government to explore Cuban waters looking for sunken Spanish ships loaded with treasure. Their Sonar equipment picked up a series of geometrical structures lying on the bottom of the ocean. Here's a computer generated image of the pyramids and other structures found underwater. The structures and design made it look like there was A gigantic underwater city at the bottom of the Bermuda Triangle. The media went crazy claiming that Atlantis had been discovered in Cuba. There are local legends of the Maya and native Yucatecos that tell of an Island inhabited by their ancestors that vanished beneath the waves. If it's true the structures were made by an ancient civilization, they would have been the Most technologically advanced structures on the planet at that time. Scientists estimate that they would have been built about 50,000 years ago which doesn't seem very likely. The numerous structures and cities that have been discovered underwater around the world Lie less than 120 meters (or 395 feet) below sea level, which comes as no surprise since the sea level never fell below this mark during the time Homo sapiens walked the earth. This Cuban city, if we can call it that, is the Only exception since It is submerged over 700 meters (2300 feet) underwater. If the large structures are actually pyramids, 2 of them are Even larger than the pyramids of Giza and Cheops in Egypt. As of yet there is no plausible explanation for the existence of this city and ADC is still trying to investigate the site. 3. Lake Titicaca Lake Titicaca is Located in the Andes between Bolivia and Peru. It is the largest freshwater lake in South America and was the cradle of Peru's ancient civilizations, including the Inca. Their presence can be seen on Lake Titicaca by the ruins they left behind, including A mysterious underwater temple thought to be between 1,000 and 1,500 years old. In the Incan creation myth, The god Con Tiqui Viracocha emerged from Lake Titicaca. After commanding the sun, moon, and the stars to rise, Viracocha created more human beings from stone. After bringing them to life, Viracocha Commanded them to go and populate the world. The Incas therefore believed that Lake Titicaca was their place of origin, and that upon death, Their spirits would return to this lake. Archeologists located a huge temple in 2000 after following a submerged road (and I'm sure following advice from locals). After 18 days of diving below the clear waters of Titicaca, scientists said they had Discovered a 660-foot long, 160-foot wide temple, a terrace for crops, and a 2,600-foot containing wall along with gold and statues. It is said the lost city was Covered with sediment during a great flood of biblical proportions and local people had passed down the stories of the underwater temple and flood from generation to generation.

[4K] Journey to the Center of the Earth Ride - Tokyo DisneySea 2016

05:47
[Ultra Low Light 4K] Journey to the Center of the Earth Ride at Tokyo DisneySea. The attraction is located inside Mt. Prometheus on Mysterious Island at Tokyo DisneySea. The ride track is similar to Test Track in EpCot and Radiator Springs Racers at Disney California Adventure. If you guys have time, definitely visit Tokyo Disneyland Resort especially Tokyo DisneySea. It's really an amazing theme park in the world. Video doesn't do this ride justice. It must be experience in person. The best thing is the ticket to both parks are so much affordable. It costs way less to visit two Tokyo Disney parks than it's to visit Disneyland resort in California. "Journey to the Center of the Earth is a slot car attraction at Tokyo DisneySea, based on Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth. The attraction uses similar technology to Epcot's Test Track. " - Wikipedia

10 MOST DANGEROUS OCEAN CREATURES IN THE WORLD

10:17
10 Most Dangerous Water Animals In The World ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/vHN6qB For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] There are many different types of creatures that live in streams, lakes, seas and oceans. And while many of these creatures are harmless, there are many that are incredibly dangerous if you happen to have an encounter with them. These dangerous animals lurk beneath the surface of the water in a world vastly different than ours, and must be deadly to survive. Join us as we take a look at 10 of the most dangerous water creatures. 10. Australian Box Jellyfish – This creature is not one to be messed around with if you happen to swim into a swarm of them. And while they may seem harmless, the Australian box jellyfish is considered to be the most venomous marine animal in the world. They have tentacles that are covered with tiny darts called nematocysts, and they are loaded with poison. 9. Flower Urchin – Beautiful but deadly, these sea urchins are extremely venomous. They look like a bouquet of small flowers; to which they get their name from. They feed on invertebrates, sponges, and dead fish, and have well developed jaws for grinding up their prey. 8. The Saltwater Crocodile – Evolving around 200 million years in the Mesozoic epoch, crocodiles have far outlived the dinosaurs. The Salt water crocodile is the world’s largest reptile, and they have been known to grow up to 27 feet long and weigh 2,465 lbs. 7. Textile Cone Snail – Mother nature teaches us that anything in nature that is beautiful, is most likely deadly, and a warning to predators and humans to not touch or disturb them. This holds true for the Textile Cone Snail. 6. The Sea Snake – These highly venomous marine snakes are closely related and belong to the same family as the cobra. There are two independently evolved groups: the true sea snakes which are related to Australian terrestrial elapids, and the sea kraits which are related to Asian cobras. 5. The Lionfish – Lionfish are skilled hunters, using specialized bilateral swim bladder muscles to provide exquisite control of location in the water column, allowing the fish to alter its center of gravity to better attack prey. The lionfish then spreads its large pectoral fins and swallows its prey in a single motion. 4. The Stingray – Stingrays are a group of rays, which are cartilaginous fish related to sharks, and are one of the oceans deadliest creatures. Most stingrays have one or more barbed stingers on their tails, which are used exclusively for self-defense. 3. Blue-Ringed Octopus – This octopus has some of the most striking colors of any ocean creature. They get their name from the brightly blue colored rings on its body. 2. Needlefish – These strange looking creatures are very slender, and have a single dorsal fin, placed far back on the body. Needlefish are capable of making short jumps out of the water at up to 37 mph. Since Needlefish swim near the surface, they often leap over the decks of shallow boats rather than going around. 1. The Moray Eel - Most attacks stem from disruption of a moray's burrow to which they react strongly, but an increasing number of accidents also occur during hand feeding of morays by divers, an activity often used by dive companies to attract tourists.

This happened on our Earth in April 2018

10:03
Our land has always been ready to share with us all that it has, but man has turned out to be a bad master. He wanted complete control over everything: the land, the climate, the seas and oceans, the near-earth space. And it seems that the planet is no longer able to tolerate us, importunate and insatiable people, who cut down forests, pollute the surface, the sky and orbit. And nature strikes back. Today we will tell you about the main events that took place on our planet in April 2018. This happened on our Earth in February 2018!!! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd8LzR_0pw0&t=26s

How Deep Is the Ocean In Reality?

17:26
A whopping 94% of all life-forms on Earth are aquatic. Such a huge number of living beings who can't survive without water is understandable. After all, more than 70% of our planet's surface is covered with water. The World Ocean includes the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Arctic Ocean. There's enough water in the oceans to fill a 685-mile-long bathtub! One of the main nagging questions people have been asking for ages is "How deep is the ocean in reality?" Let’s find an answer to it. TIMESTAMPS Sunlit zone 1:21 Twilight zone 6:17 Midnight zone 10:19 The abyss 13:17 Trench zone 14:25 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -The Sunlit zone stretches from 14.5 ft, that is is the depth of a standard Olympic diving pool, to 561 ft under the water’s surface, where RMS Carpathia found her last dwelling. This ship became famous after her participation in the rescue of the Titanic survivors. -At 656 ft, the twilight zone begins. That's where you can see the giant oarfish. At a depth of 1,453 ft, you could reach the height of the Empire State Building if somebody powerful enough decided to submerge it under the water. The giant squid lives as deep as 2,952 ft below the surface. This is where the Twilight zone ends. -At a depth of 3,608 ft, there's the deepest volcano recorded by scientists. At 12,795 ft below the water’s surface, there are Air France flight 447 black boxes. Airbus A330 crashed into the Atlantic Ocean in 2009. This is where the Midnight zone ends. -At a depth of 13,123 ft, the midnight zone ends, and the abyss lies ahead. 18,897 ft is the bottom of the abyss and the depth at which you can find the deepest shipwreck. SS Rio Grande sunk in 1941 in the South Atlantic and was discovered only in 1996. -At a depth of 19,685 ft, the abyss ends and gives way to the trench zone. At a depth of 36,070 ft, you will reach the very bottom of the ocean in its deepest point known to man: Challenger Deep. DEEPEST Holes Discovered In The Earth!

12:00
Check out the DEEPEST Holes Discovered In The Earth! This top 10 list of biggest and largest amazing holes on earth has some of the biggest holes ever found! In case you were wondering: how deep can you dig? Subscribe to World5List: http://goo.gl/cpJSA6 Check out our "Superpowers You Can Get RIGHT NOW!" video at: https://youtu.be/a6QmVdBTf0g Check out our "8 Bizarre Things People Found in Their Pool" video at: https://youtu.be/gH7ywvBgXkE Check out our "Most HAUNTED Places On Earth!" video at: https://youtu.be/REPkWKaCKPI 10. Mount Baldy This series of holes actually baffle scientists. The Indiana Dunes National Park was once a great tourist attraction, and it has a unique history all its own. But, in 2013, things started getting weird. The sandy dune literally swallowed up a six-year-old boy, but don’t worry! He made it out ok! What happened is that a sinkhole suddenly appeared beneath him out of nowhere, and it took three hours to get it him out of there. I’m sure it was scary but It could have been much worse. 9. Devil's Sinkhole Sinkholes are a natural phenomenon that are very dangerous as you can see from what I just told you in the previous entry, but they can also create some pretty wondrous stuff. The Devil's Sinkhole in Edwards County, Texas for example is one such place. This massive sinkhole is a fully formed hole at 50 feet wide! And what's more, it's 350 feet deep. 8. The Bingham County Mine Not all hole and gaps in the Earth are naturally made. We’ve been around for quite a while, and we've made our impression on the planet. But no doubt one of the most impressive things we've ever done is the Bingham County Mine, along with the Berkley Mine. These mines are impressive on numerous scales and levels, to the extent that Bingham is actually the world's' largest copper mine, and Berkley isn't too far behind that. 7. The Three Holes Of Siberia Yes, I'm going to talk about a trinity of holes here instead of one, but they're all in one location, Siberia. What's more, how these holes were formed are believed to be from one singular instance within the Earth itself. So despite them being in different places (sometimes miles apart), they really are connected. 6. The Earth's Heartbeat There are two different boreholes on this list, or holes that were drilled down by man. The biggest one is very high up on the list, but this one here made me smile the most. It was called the German Superdeep Hole, and it was a project that ended drilling in 1994. Now, like the other borehole on this list, the intent was to dig as deep as possible into the Earth to find out what it was like down there both rock wise and heat wise. Yet, one person had a different idea for the whole. 5. Dead Sea Sinkholes I touched on sinkholes before, but this is on a much grander scale. In the Dead Sea, an alarming amount of sinkholes are being made. To prove just how scary this is, in the last 15 years alone, a thousand more sinkholes have appeared within the sea. There are many reasons for this occurrence, but one of the biggest ones is that the Dead Sea is getting a lot smaller. In fact, it's about one-third of the size it was back in the 1960's. 4. Dean's Blue Hole Hey! Mind out of the gutter! This is a natural occurrence, not a sick joke. You see, we just talked about sinkholes that can form under a sea, but this? This is different. This is a massive hole that is located in the Bahamas. Which is honestly a bit more impressive that thousands of tiny sinkholes. Dean's Blue Hole (again, that's its real name!) is 663 feet deep. And because of how it's formed, you can see it from the surface of the water, and its much darker in blue color because of it. 3. The Black Hole Of Andros Can I just note that this would be a great name of a sci-fi film? Seriously picture it, it would be boss. Ahem. If Dean's Blue Hole was a wonderful location to visit, the Black Hole of Andros is exactly the opposite. For if you go there, you're likely going to die. While it is in the Bahamas, the island of South Andros is definitely one you don't want to go to. 2. Kola Superdeep Borehole Since humanity started to wonder more about the planet we lived on, the desire to dig deep into the Earth became a fascination. Some people even thought it was possible to dig their way to China from the US, an idea that was thankfully debunked, yet still is a good story. 1. The Song Doong Cave You might be wondering, "Why is a cave at the top of a list about holes?" Well, it's because this cave is the largest in the world, and it can only be accessed via a hole that honestly shouldn't have been found in the first place.

How Earth Would Look If All The Ice Melted

02:45
We learned last year that many of the effects of climate change are irreversible. Sea levels have been rising at a greater rate year after year, and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimates they could rise by another meter or more by the end of this century. As National Geographic showed us in 2013, sea levels would rise by 216 feet if all the land ice on the planet were to melt. This would dramatically reshape the continents and drown many of the world's major cities. AMAZING Places BELOW Sea Level

11:51
From an airport that operates thousands of feet below sea level, too one of the saltiest places on earth here’s some amazing sights that the ocean could look down on. Taieri Plain Lying just north of the Dunedin International Airport, is New Zealand’s lowest point, two meters below sea level. It’s all a part of the Taieri Plain, a three hundred square kilometer patch of farmland. The land is dominated by farm animals and lovely towns like Mosgiel and Maungatua. Floods in the region happen regularly and can be severe. Lammefjord This agricultural land in Denmark used to be a body of water. But a draining project started in 1873 and it took a really long time to complete. It wasn’t until 1943 that the lowest lying elevations were pumped dry. Now the land is ideal for growing things like carrots and potatoes. At seven meters below sea level it's, along with a polder in the western Netherlands, one of the lowest lying points in all of western Europe. Georgetown The busiest place in Guyana (guy-anna), Georgetown is also the country's capital and is where some 120 thousand people call home. Normally it lies right at sea level, 0, but at high tide it's actually one meter below sea level. It's for this reason that the land is protected by a seawall and authorities decided to install an intricate network of canals to drain the city. Georgetown is hot and humid. There’s no dry season however, with all 12 months experiencing at least 2 average inches of precipitation. New Orleans Until the Louisiana purchase in 1803 Napoleon and the French owned New Orleans. The city was named after a French Regent in 1718. After the U.S. purchased the land New Orleans would become a melting pot of cultures, with American, French, Creole and African people creating a diverse mix of lifestyles. It’s why the city is such a unique, fun place to experience. Parts of the city lie a few meters below sea level. By the late 20th century city officials began to realize that New Orleans could be vulnerable to flooding. Events like Hurricane Betsy in 1965 and a flood in May of 1995 demonstrated as much. The first mandatory evacuation in the city's history occurred in the same year, and was in lieu of Hurricane Katrina. While most residents had left by the time Katrina hit land, more than 1,500 people were lost during the disaster. During the hurricane the cities federal flood protection system failed. 80% of the city would flood as a result. The event is one of the worst civil engineering disasters of all time, and many say the worst since Chernobyl in 1986. Lake Eyre It doesn’t often fill, but when it does, Lake Eyre in central Australia become the largest lake in the country. Even when it's not full, it's home to the country’s lowest point at 49 feet below sea level. The salinity of the lake, which is at ocean levels when full, increases as water evaporates. Saturation occurs and at this poi9nt the lake turn pink. There’s just one more place left to learn about, but first we’d like to thank everyone for watching. We hope you learned something interesting in the last nine minutes and we invite you to subscribe and tune into our next video. Now for one more place, and it’s a city that’s constantly having to hold water at bay, Kristianstad Sweden's lowest point, nearly two and a half meters below sea level can be found in this city. It’s why parts have systems of levees and pumps in place for flood protection. In the recent past they’ve gone to great lengths to protect the environment. They use no oil, coal or natural gas to warm buildings, a remarkable turnaround considering that just two decades ago all of their heating came from fossil fuels.

Incredible Transit bases and Structures under the Sea,kept secret from Humans

C Google Earth is now a lot of things to remove, hide the truth about the structure of the Earth, so I suggest you see how this is done in this video, half of the video belongs to the channel Unusual object in the shape of a spear on the ocean floor Information about the relief of the bottom is obtained with the help of sonars, or echo sounders installed on ships. Sonar sends deep into the sound signal, which passes through the thickness of the water, until it encounters an obstacle. The sound wave is reflected from the barrier and returns to the top, where it is "caught" by the sonar receiver. By the time of the return of the signal, you can calculate the distance to the object. Having made many measurements in one place, surveyors get an idea of the bottom relief. Modern echosounders measure several dozen times per second. As explained by Scott, the straight lines of the found "Atlantis" correspond to the trajectory of the ships' movement at the time when they include sonnars. Ie again. From the satellite, the relief of the bottom of the seas and oceans is not visible. Therefore, when drawing up a map of the relief of the seabed, bathymetric maps were used. The strips are the path of a ship that traveled with a multi-beam echo sounder switched on to obtain bathymetric data. But after receiving digital data on this profile, they were not processed, but immediately loaded into the database. Therefore, we see data on this profile that are more accurate in terms of depth measurements, they are not processed, many "bounces". more details you can learn here http: //www.kscnet.ru/ivs/monograph/se ...
