This is a video that I made for my 12th-grade economics class. Our assignment was to explain something using economic terms and principles from our first unit. Assignment details: This video contains embedded images; however, I can not embed links in the video. When you add a fish to your virtual tank on AqAdvisor, it shows that there is less space left (x% stocked), and it also hides incompatible species from the selectable species list. This is a great way of showing opportunity costs—both in terms of space and in terms of fish you can keep together.

In this Shoestring101 "Five Steps to Five Figures a Month" video I explain the first marketing principle I learned as a teenager, PRE-internet. This foundational lesson is about finding your target market to save time, energy, and capital. Even back in 1986, this 'secret' principle enabled a snot-nosed college kid (me!) to pick up an insane side income with flexible hours. This principle has served me well in the "serial entrepreneur" lifestyle I've lived since then. Please enjoy this first in a series and tell me what you think! Keep Stepping, Kurt

Seven Seas are the big name in Omega-3 and Cod Liver Oil. Understandably, they wanted to shout about it. So what better than a 30 ft long giant CGI cod swimming in the air to emphasise the fact. Shot in and around Barcelona - chosen for its graphic cityscape, weather and close proximity to lush countryside and beaches - the commercial features our big fish gracefully darting and swishing between people, giving them a helpful nudge in their everyday routines. This hints at how taking Seven Seas Extra High Strength Cod Liver Oil can help with your movement, flexibility and general good health. f you've sharp eyes you may be able to spot Chris Goodwin - one of Principles' founding partners - in one scene.

Jamie takes the principles of a classic fish pie recipe and gives it an incredible curry twist. Generous pieces of haddock, salmon and lemon sole are gently cooked in an Indian spiced base along with large succulent prawns and hard boiled eggs. With Buddy on hand to help Jamie tops the pie with smooth mashed potato and bakes it until golden and bubbling. The spicy temper drizzled over the top really makes it a dish to die for. Trust us, you’ll love this one. This recipe first aired on channel 4 in 2014 as part of the Comfort Food series.

This is our first in a series of how to handle a big fish. Although this is only a 34" Northern Pike. The principles discussed are the same for bigger fish. Coming soon will be part two with a muskie on the line. The audio is a bit windy and I know I said "Put my teeth in his gills" I meant to say not to put your fingers in the gills" enjoy the video and I hope it's helpful.

The aim is to offer an healthy environment to your ecosystem and therefore the species must be adapted to the temperature variation that you will offer them. If you follow this first principle you will be able to create an ecofriendly, sustainable system that will allow you to progress toward self-sufficiency. The question we get asked is: is there a cleaner fish that will allow the aquaponics keeper to relax while the fish are doing all the maintenance by themselves. The response to this question is Yes and No… There are some fish that will help and eat the food sitting on the bottom of the tank. This is what we will talk about into this video. Gardening following permaculture principles and combining it with Aquaculture allows us to grow more than organic vegetables and tasty food at home! Today the aquaponics tips is to add a few catfish to your aquaponics system in order to improve the system efficiency and the fish production. In Australia we use eel-tailed catfish but there are hundreds of catfish species with different characteristics and there is definitely one species adapted to your Aquaponics system! Find it and add it to your fish tank, it’s a very hardy fish perfect for Aquaponics beginners. Build your Aquaponics clean-up crew and relax!
