19 INCREDIBLY Colorful Sea Creatures

09:30
From Nemo, the clownfish, to the beautiful and elusive Blue Sea Slug, these are 19 INCREDIBLY Colorful Sea Creatures ! 8. Blue Tang -- Undersea creatures seem to look really cool in blue … and this one is no exception. The Blue Tang shows off some amazing blue coloration complemented by bold black markings. It almost sounds like a fashion shows, right? These fish are usually found in Indo-Pacific waters and are actually bright yellow when they’re younger. The blue and black colors show up at their final phase of development. 7. Coral -- Is that a brain at the bottom of the ocean? No … but it is a brain coral … and just an example of the wide ranging variety of living coral and coral reefs, some of which are thought to have started growing over 50 million years ago. Contrary to some beliefs, coral are animals, not plants … they’re actually related to anemones and jellyfish. The reefs formed by coral provide housing for thousands of marine species, giving them a place to find food, reproduce, and keep them safe until they’re mature enough to venture into the deeper ocean. Did you know coral reef plants and animals have proven important to the development of new medicines to treat cancer, Alzheimer's and heart disease? But even with all those advantages, human activity is threatening almost 60 percent of the world’s coral reefs. 6. Flower Hat Jellyfish -- This rare species of jellyfish is a rare species usually found in the waters of southern japan, Argentina and Brazil. It can grow to a half-foot in diameter, and is easily recognizable by its translucent bell, which is pinstriped with opaque bands. Those coiling tentacles adhere to the rim while not in use. Like many pretty looking things, this jelly carries a sting … but even though it’s painful, it’s non-lethal to humans … the worst you’d get is a rash. 5. Blue Sea Slug -- We couldn’t find a lot of information on this critter. From what we’ve seen, it’s often identified as a Blue Sea Slug … but that sounds like a pedestrian name for such a colorful creature. You can see the brilliant blue coloration in this photo … the animal almost looks like an alien life form with the two antennae sticking up. We’re guessing it might be a Nudibranch (new-di-brank). Those mollusks are noted for their striking colors, and there are more than 2,300 validated species scattered about the world. Can you confirm that? Let us know in the comments! 4. Mantis Shrimp -- They’re one of the most colorful forms of marine life, but don’t be fooled. They’re also known as ferocious undersea predators that possess, pound for pound, one of the most powerful punches on the planet. Punching with speed equal to a .22 caliber bullet, the Mantis Shrimp has not only broken shells of its prey … it’s also broken through aquarium glass. Punching at that velocity makes water vaporize and explode with a sharp bang, a flash of light and extremely high heat, all of which is felt by the victim as an additional blast. Not bad for an animal that averages less than four inches long. 3. Juvenile Emperor Angelfish -- Their coloration will change with age … but while they’re young, they exhibit these amazing displays of swirling dark blue, white and electric blue. It almost look hypnotic, right? Well, the fish keeps these distinct patterns until it reaches maturity, which usually takes around 4 years. Then the fish develops blue and yellow stripes, and black shading around its eyes. 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphiprioninae Clownfish -- Did you recognize them from “Finding Nemo”? Known as one of the most brightly colored fish in the world, their bodies have distinctive white striping with colors that can vary from red, orange or yellow. They’re also known as anemone fishes, because of their mutually beneficial relationship with sea anemones. The toxic tentacles of the anemones protect clownfish from predators. And the fast movement of the fishes helps anemones find food and increase circulation. 1. The Mandarinfish -- Also known as the “Mandarin Dragonet” it swims in the Pacific reefs … but it’s less than 3 inches long so it can be difficult to see in the wild. As you might guess, this fish is highly sought after in the aquarium trade … but they’re considered extremely difficult to their strict eating habits. Some people think the Mandarinfish might be the most beautiful fish in the world … would you agree? to Epic Wildlife http://goo.gl/6rzs5u Let's Connect -- http://www.epicadamwildlife.com/ -- http://www.facebook.com/epicadamwildlife -- http://www.twitter.com/epicwildlife -- http://gplus.to/epicwildlife

Top 10 Most Bizarre Deep Sea Creatures Ever Discovered

12:32
Deep Sea Creatures are as bizarre as creatures get. From angler fish to giant squid, here are some of the weirdest bizarre deep sea creatures caught on tape. Subscribe for more! ► https://goo.gl/pgcoq1 ◄ Stay updated ► https://goo.gl/JyGcTt https://goo.gl/5c8dzr ◄ For copyright queries or general inquiries please get in touch: [email protected] Credit: https://pastebin.com/Pc2NrbsG Be Amazed at these top 10 most bizarre deep sea creatures in the world! Weird Octopuses - Octopuses are already strange creatures. Let's start off with the flapjack octopus which certainly looks like something out of a Disney movie . The informally named ‘Casper’ octopus gets the inspiration obviously from its ghastly look. For another Disney reference, look no further than the dumbo octopus . Angler Fish - Of course, we can't talk about the deep sea without mentioning just about every super wide-jawed oddity that lurks down there. On the top of the list is none other than the angler fish , which gets its name from its unusual hunting method, which involves luring prey close to its mouth using that weird luminescent appendage coming out of its head. Another frightening fish is the viperfish , measuring around 60 centimetres, or 23 inches in length. Probably even more hideous are deep-seadragonfishes , a similar class of wide-jawed monsters which make viperfish look like their incomplete cousins. Pelican Flounder - The main challenge for any deep-sea organism isn’t actually the absence of light, but the crushing pressure levels. Giant Isopods and Amphipods - Sure, ancient trilobites and modern horseshoe crabs may look cute and all, but out on the deep sea floor, there are creepy crawlies that can take you millions of years back into the age of the giant insects. Spider Crabs - Speaking of crustaceans, crabs also subjected to the same freakish transformations when the deep sea is taken into account. The Hoff crab is another ghastly version of its normal counterpart. Colossal Squid - The colossal squid is a gigantic cephalopod that is easily more than twice the size of a regular human. Giant squid are another huge squid species. Harp Sponge - As fearsome as they already are, sea anemones and other similar creatures have at least taught us that the oceans are also home to a number of immobile predatory feeders. Sea Toads - Siphonophores - Deep sea siphonophores are long lines of jellyfish-like entities connected together, only guided by the organism behind and in front. Gulper Eels - If there is one thing in the deep that is the literal stuff of nightmares, it would definitely have to be the Gulper eel . This is to be expected though, as at 8,200 meters deep, the cusk eel is officially one of the deepest ocean dwelling creatures on record.

World's 10 Most Bizarre Sea Creatures

03:04
Here are 10 of the more unusual creatures found underwater. From monstrous to ethereal, the sea is filled with all sorts of magnificent specimens. Here are 10 of the more unusual creatures found underwater. Number 10. Siphonophores. They're clear and fragile, but given the length and bioluminescence of some of them, they can be quite a spectacle to behold. Select ones have been measured at over 40 meters long. Be careful around them though. They break easily. Number 9. Vampire Squid. Like its namesake, this cephalopod wanders about in the dark. In order to survive the deep area it occupies, it has had to give up some other functions, like spewing ink clouds. Number 8. Anaximenes Amphipod. Looking like the offspring of a water glass and an alien, this mysterious diaphanous crustacean was spotted off the coast of Southern Turkey. Number 7. Goblin Shark. Ideally suited for a sci-fi horror movie, this sea beast is actually built for roaming around the deep sea. Its beady little eyes are the result of not surfacing often. Number 6. Dumbo Octopus. It was named thus because it has two flaps on its head that resemble big ears, just like the cartoon elephant has. When these creatures float around they take on an umbrella-like appearance. Number 5. Colossal Squid. Yeah, they're big. These squid can reach about 17 feet in length. Despite the claims gone viral on social media, they do not grow to be the size of military submarines. Number 4. Barreleye. Transparent fish are not rare, but this one only has a see-through head, making it quite unique. It has eyes that completely rotate around their sockets, making it possible for the barreleye to look through itself. Number 3. Disco Clam. It's a bivalve and a light show. Scientists have discovered that it produces the pulses by moving its silica-covered lips back and forth to catch and reflect rays, just like a disco ball. Number 2. Predatory Tunicate. They live anchored to the walls of deep canyons and must feed on whatever passes by -- sort of like a venus flytrap. And if there aren't any other tunicates nearby, they're able to reproduce on their own. Number 1. Gigantocypris. Oddly, it's also known as the Giant ostracod, even though it's only about 2-and-a-half centimeters wide. 20 percent of its body is taken up by their eyes, which are made of big reflectors and light-sensitive materials.

15 Bizarre Creatures from the Sea

07:03
Did you know that scale worms like hydro thermal vents that can reach 700 degrees Fahrenheit ? From the ocean's biggest Sunfish, to the tiny Squidworm, these are 15 Bizarre Creatures from the Sea Basket Star -- Pretty amazing patterns created by this marine invertebrate, almost looks like a mass of seaweed.. Check out this picture from wired.com. You can see that all those branches are actually fleshy arms, giving it a basket like appearance, hence its name. To catch prey, they’ll coil their tendrils about their victims, usually small crustaceans or mollusks … Then the Basket Star will transport the food to its mouth, located underneath the central disc. Did you know that these marine invertebrates can reproduce sexually or simply divide their bodies and regenerate themselves! Sea Cucumber -- These marine animals have leathery skin and an elongated body, generally measuring up to 12 inches long (30cm). Sea Cucumbers are usually found on the seafloor and many collected are for human consumption … not because they taste like cucumbers, though. They get that name because they resemble the fruit of the cucumber plant. This translucent shrimp-like animal was found in New Zealand in 2014. Despite the fact that you can see through the animal, scientists still don’t know much about it. It's thought the creature could be a Salpa Maxima, which are known to have gelatinous bodies and feed on phytoplankton and have gelatinous bodies. They’re usually found in both temperate and cold seas. Think you’d want one for a pet? The Dumbo Octopus -- This animal gets its name because it looks like a Dumbo … You know, Walt Disney’s Dumbo, the elephant whose ears were so big he could flap them and fly? Well, this creature don’t have ears, but it does have fins it uses to flap its way across the ocean floor. They’re known for their large eyes that are about one-third the width of their bell shaped heads and are known to live 23,000 feet (7010m) deep … Did you know the Dumbo Octopus eats its prey whole and can change color to camouflage itself? Tonguefish -- Species of Tonguefish are usually found in tropical or some shallow estuaries. The one pictured here (*as seen on listverse.com*) was actually inhabiting the bottom of the western Pacific Ocean and was caught in 2012. They tend to be survivors, as many of these animals have been located around hydrothermal vents which spew sulphur … Scientists aren’t quite sure how they can survive such condition. Did you notice that both of the Tonguefish’s eyes are located on one side of its head! Sea Angel -- They might be called sea angels, but they can be one devil of a predator. This animal is actually a predatory sea snail that makes its home in the deep waters of the Antarctic. Also rather un-angelic is their habit of hunting and eating shelled pteropods, which is another kind of snail … wouldn’t that be some sort of snail-cannibalism? Napoleon Wrasse (rass) -- Found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, this is one of the largest reef fish found in those warm waters, measuring more than 6 feet (2m) in length. It’s also known as the Maori Wrasse due to the intricate blue-green facial design that resembles Maori war paint. Like fingerprints, those designs are unique to each animal. Did you know that this creature is a protogynous (proto-jin-uss) hermaphrodite and can change its sex from female to male … Would you like that kind of ability? The Squidworm -- Sounds like a great title for a horror movie, right? Take a look at this creature feature in this picture from phys.org. This is actually a new species discovered in the Coral Triangle, an area between Indonesia and the Philippines. The animal was found in 2007 at a depth of 1.8 miles (2800m) by scientists using a remote operated vehicle (or ROV). The Squidworm earned its name due to the 10 appendages on its head which are tentacle shaped and each of which are longer than its 3.5 inch (8.9cm) body. Mola Mola -- Also known as the Ocean Sunfish, this animal can weigh an average of more than 2,200 pounds (998kg). Little surprise that it’s earned a reputation as the heaviest known bony fish in the world. Resembling a fish head with tail, its body is laterally flattened … you tell that from the picture here. Over 10 ft in height (3.2m) and over 5 feet long (1.8m) these fish can be as tall as they are long when their dorsal and ventral fins are extended. Despite their size, they pose no threat to humans and like feed on jellyfish, squid and crustaceans. 10 of the MOST AMAZING SEA CREATURES ever discovered!

06:42
10 of the MOST AMAZING SEA CREATURES ever discovered! 10. RED-LIPPED BATFISH: Found around the Galapagos Islands, this unusual fish is not very good at swimming... ...it instead uses its unique fins to walk the ocean floor. And it has an ingenious spine-like projection on its back to lure prey, and uses a battering-ram like structure on its head to attack. 9. CHRISTMAS TREE WORMS: Each worm has two brightly coloured tree-like crowns that protrude from its tubular body. The incredible network of "leaves" radiate from the worms central spine... ...and are used for respiration and for catching food. Most of the worms body is actually not visible, as they are burrowed down and anchored into coral -- and will quickly retract into their bores when threatened. 8. GIANT OARFISH: The world's longest bony fish, reaching a recorded length of 36 feet... It is thought likely to be the source of worldwide "sea-serpent" stories. It's organs are concentrated toward the head end of it's body... Possibly allowing it to survive losing large segments of its tail. Inhabiting the mesopelagic layer, it is thought capable of diving as deep as 1000 meters (3,300 ft)." 7. LEAFY SEADRAGON: A masterfully camouflaged fish, the leafy seadragon is found off the southern coast of Australia. As well as being ingeniously camouflaged, these exquisite creatures employ a subtle means of propulsion...using their two near transparent fins to maintain the illusion of floating seaweed. 6. FIREFLY SQUID: These amazing creatures are capable of bioluminescence... that means they can produce their own light via an organ in each tentacle called a photo-sphore. During the day they live at depths of several hundred meters, but at night they return to the surface, and in numbers they can produce an incredible sea of blue light. They are also capable of "counter-illumination" which makes it very difficult for a predator to spot them from below. 5. Pink Sea-Through Fantasia: This rare translucent animal lives in the Celebes Sea of the western Pacific Ocean. Sometimes mistaken for a jelly-fish, this cleverly mobile sea-cucumber is capable of navigating safely around prey while travelling upwards of 3000 feet form the seabed in search of food. 4. Sarcastic Fringehead: This notoriously ferocious and territorially aggressive fish... ...is known to wrestle with other fringeheads; pressing their over-sized mouths against each other in an attempt to establish dominance. 3. BARRELEYE: These fish are named for their huge, telescoping barrel-shaped eyes which are located inside a protective transparent dome of soft tissue. Their acutely light sensitive binocular eyes, which can be directed forward, are generally directed upwards and are capable of detecting the silhouettes of potential food sources from vast distances. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimic_octopus 2. MIMIC OCTOPUS: The mimic octopus is a remarkable species of octopus capable of impersonating an array of other sea animals. Not only can it change skin pattern and color to suit its background, as other cephalopods can, the Mimic octopus can shape shift to an extraordinary degree... Both as a means of tricking unsuspecting prey. And by fooling potential predators -- "by discerning and impersonating the sea creature that will present the greatest threat to its current possible predator." 1. PEACOCK MANTIS SHRIMP: Forget Mike Tyson or Rocky Marciano, for pound-for-pound power nothing comes close to this shrimpy super-boxer. The 4-6 inch mantis shrimp has the fastest punch in the known universe! ***THE MUSIC*** -- called "Energetic Psychedelic Electronica" -- is from Ultrasonic: http://www.audiomicro.com/energetic-psychedelic-electronica-royalty-free-stock-music-1005207

Strange Deep Sea Creatures(full documentary)HD

44:59
The term deep sea creature refers to organisms that live below the photic zone of the ocean. These creatures must survive in extremely harsh conditions, such as hundreds of bars of pressure, small amounts of oxygen, very little food, no sunlight, and constant, extreme cold. Most creatures have to depend on food floating down from above. These creatures live in very harsh environments, such as the abyssal or hadal zones, which, being thousands of meters below the surface, are almost completely devoid of light. The water is between 3 and 10 degrees Celsius and has low oxygen levels. Due to the depth, the pressure is between 20 and 1,000 bars. Creatures that live hundreds or even thousands of meters deep in the ocean have adapted to the high pressure, lack of light, and other factors.

FRIENDLIEST Sea Creatures

10:06
The sea is home to one of the most significant parts of the animal kingdom anywhere on Earth. Even though there are numerous creatures that can eat you with ease, there are equally as many creatures that are ready to swim and play with you. Many of the animals that call the ocean their home are incredibly intelligent, playful, and are some of the friendliest creatures anywhere. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 3. Jellyfish in Jellyfish Lake You should avoid most jellyfish from around the world due to their toxic stingers that can cause significant pain to humans. However, a small lake in Palau is home to a unique species of jellyfish that are missing these poisonous stingers. Thanks to the lack of stingers, these jellyfish make for one of the most peaceful creatures in the sea. The jellyfish that have survived in this lake has done so thanks to a unique metabolic process. By feeding on fast-growing algae, the jellyfish in this lake are capable of surviving on little food with no predators. As the sun moves across the lake growing natural algae, the jellyfish migrate from one end of the lake to another. These migrations when seen from above looks impressive and brings in many tourists. A trip to Jellyfish lake has been a fantastic trip many tourists have embarked on for many years. Recently, the government has temporarily shut down the ability to snorkel with these sea creatures due to a sudden drop in the population of jellyfish in the lake. Between the extreme drought and El Nino weather pattern in the area, the jellyfish population has dwindled to alarmingly low numbers. Hopefully, with increased rain and better climate conditions, these amazing creatures will flourish again. 2. Beluga Whale http://everythingchurchill.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/Beluga_051.jpg http://everythingchurchill.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/Beluga_07.jpg As with the Humpback Whale, the Beluga whale makes our list as one of the friendliest sea creatures. These massive white whales are beautiful creatures that are found in arctic to sub-arctic ocean temperatures. Due to their nature to travel in groups of 10 or more, these whales make for majestic animals that are friendly to all humans. Measuring in over 18 feet long, and over 3000 pounds, the Beluga whale is a fantastic sight to see. Thanks to its high pitched tweets, the Beluga whale is sometimes referred to as the sea canary. The Beluga whale also has the unique ability to mimic human speech through its high pitched sounds. In the wild, the cry of a Beluga whale has even been compared to the shouting of children. The first Beluga whale was brought into captivity in 1861, marking the first time a whale was kept in captivity. As with Humpbacks, it is best to experience Beluga whales from a distance to their large size. One of the most well-known places to view the Beluga whale is in the Northern Hudson Bay coastline. During June to mid-September, this bay becomes home to over 50,000 beluga whales. Local tourist companies offer small boats that can be taken out to the bay to view the whales up close. Even from the distance of a boat, these creatures can be seen in all their beauty as they breach the ocean’s surface and playfully swim beneath your boat. 1. Sea Otters Between their cute fur covered body, to their ability to play and problem solve, the Sea Otter is one of the friendliest creatures living in the ocean. Similar to Humpback whales, the Sea Otter was hunted for hundreds of years. It wasn’t until the 20th century that Sea Otters saw a massive spike in their population. After Zoos started to bring Sea Otters in for exhibits, the public fell in love with these friendly animals. Sea Otters are one of the smallest marine mammals, measuring about 4 feet long. While they are descendants of the weasel family, they are the heaviest members weighing in from 50 to 100 pounds. As with some sea creatures, Sea Otters are intelligent. Many Otters love to dine on clams and other shelled animals of the ocean. Since they do not have the strength to break the shells, many otters will store rocks under their arms as they hunt to help break the shells open. The best way to experience a sea otter is in a zoo or other aquarium. Many zoos offer dedicated exhibits that allow guests to experience first hand the friendly Sea Otter. These exhibits usually include allowing the guest to feed the sea otter and participate in a training session alongside professional animal trainers. A handful of zoos even offer guests the ability to swim with the sea otters for a short period, giving them the opportunity to play with these friendly creatures.

FRIENDLIEST Sea Creatures Around The World!

Check out the friendliest sea creatures around the world! From incredible animals that saved peoples lives to the strangest ocean wildlife, this top 10 list of friendly creatures swimming around in the vast ocean is amazing! Subscribe For New Videos! http://goo.gl/UIzLeB Watch our "Most MYSTERIOUS Ocean Facts!" video here: https://youtu.be/BzrlpgRVPQg Watch our "Most TERRIFYING Sea Monsters Ever!" video here: https://youtu.be/B9aPB6KB504 Watch our "STRANGEST Things Found In The Ocean!" video here: https://youtu.be/XYfqi5VNgac 10. Sea Lions Sea Lions have long been associated with friendly interactions with humans, so much so that they form a large part of Peruvian culture- having been worshipped by the people there and depicted in numerous artworks. They are highly intelligent animals, which means they can learn tricks to entertain crowds, and are quite curious so they will often swim up alongside humans and play with them in the water. They are also used by the US military to assist SCUBA diving teams look for underwater mines and, in some instances, detain divers who have accessed restricted areas until authorities can arrive. Sea lions and dolphins are used as combat marine units and sea lions especially, have excellent eyesight. Sea lions are hardy, smart, and trainable and they have the added advantage that they are amphibious and can easily hand things to their handlers. This all makes Sea Lions sound like gentle creatures, but it’s important to know that sea lions have another side to them. If they aren’t treated well or respectfully, they can become quite aggressive. This can also happen with male Sea Lions because they are very territorial during mating season. If it looks like you’re bothering one then stay away but, if not, they are one of the friendliest sea creatures you’ll ever meet. 9. Beluga Whale Beluga Whales are native to the Arctic and sub-arctic, and are uniquely adapted to the cold waters. They are white in color, don’t have a dorsal fin, and have an enlarged head, which contains an organ called a melon that is used for echolocation. Beluga’s were actually the first type of whale to be kept in captivity, with the first being shown at Barnum’s museum in New York in 1861. To this day they are still the most commonly seen animal in marine parks across North America, Europe and Asia- mainly because they are much smaller than other species of whale and easier to contain. They are also a hit with visitors because of their unusual colour and wide range of facial expressions. They are really curious about the people who visit them, and often perform in shows with trainers who they develop deep bonds with. Since 1992 it has been forbidden to capture Belugas in Canada because of concerns for the population numbers in the wild, so now most of them come from Russia. They are so popular that each one can cost as much as 100,000 dollars. Whale watching tours are a great way to see them in their natural habitat, but it’s important for the boat not to get too close to them because of the way it can interrupt their daily activities. Quite often they enjoy interacting with the boats so much that they get distracted from things like feeding, social interaction with their own species, and breeding. They get so caught up in the moment, they forget what they’re supposed to be doing!! 8. Whale Shark You might not think a shark with a five-foot-wide mouth and more than 3,000 teeth would be the friendliest of creatures, but whale sharks are the most gentle of all shark species. They pose no threat to humans at all, and are usually pretty welcoming to those who want to swim alongside them. Despite their huge mouth, their throats are only the width of a US quarter, and they only eat tiny micro-organisms. Their average speed through the water is about 3 miles per hour, so they are easy to keep up with, and in a lot of tourist areas they are used to the presence of humans in the water, and don’t really seem to be bothered. Cancun is one of the best places to swim with these giants of the ocean, where you’ll really feel small next to a 65-foot-long and 12 ton fish. There really is nothing quite like being surrounded by a few of them, and the experience draws tourists from all over the world. If you visit “Las Afueras” you’ll even have a chance to be amongst a feeding frenzy of hundreds of them, which is a spectacular feat of nature. 7. Manatees Manatees, or sea cows, are also known as gentle giants, and it’s clear to see why. They are fully aquatic and feed mainly on plant life that they sift from the water. They can grow to up to 13-feet-long, weigh about 1,300 pounds, and push their way through the water with their paddle like limbs. 10 Creepy Sea Creatures You Didn't Know Existed

04:33
Did you know any of these amazing and scary deep sea creatures? It's hard to believe these bizarre animals exist. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg 'Hatchet Fish' footage by Filmic Art : www.filmicart.com For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Description: There is a vast world below the ocean that we have yet to discover in its entirety. While we seem to know nearly everything about the land, the sea still leaves much to be desired. As you go down into the depths of the ocean, you’ll notice a lot will change. For one, you’ll begin to be immersed in darkness. Second, the pressure will change. So, the creatures that have been discovered deep in the oceanic depths are quite different biologically, and they can be quite terrifying to look at. But once we begin to understand them, we can start to learn more about our existence, and even come closer to curing diseases and solving some of the world’s most complex mysteries. However, the sea creatures that have been discovered recently have shown to be just downright creepy and terrifying. You probably recall the Angler Fish, especially if you’re seen the Disney movie, “Finding Nemo”. If you didn’t realize that this fish is the real deal, get ready for new additions to your nightmares. It wasn’t a work of fiction or some messed up fantasy of some Disney Imagineer. The fish that we see in this video is actually female, and the male is a small weakling, wandering the sea to find a female with her pheromones. The male then attaches itself to the female and becomes a parasite. Every part of the male merges with the female except for the testicles, which the female uses to impregnate herself. Jokes aside, this is quite a fascinating process despite how creepy it is. Similar to the angler fish is the Viper Fish, which has a natural extra attachment that illuminates in the darkness of the sea with the purpose of attracting prey. The blob fish is a creature that you wonder what God was smoking or shooting up when he decided to create the blob fish. This fish has no bones, and literally just hangs out on the ocean floor and hopes that food comes to its mouth. Whether you want to worship the blob fish for its epic level of laziness or wonder how in the world the species is still in existence with such an apathetic demeanor, it’s still creepy to look at. Then we have the goblin shark, which is pretty much like the underwater version of the alien from the movie “Alien” due to its protruding mouth. The goblin shark has a large snout and needle-like teeth that are sharp and deadly. For a completely random sea creature, we have the Christmas Tree Worms, which really look like tiny walking fir trees that come in different colors. The branches or hair-like appendages help them breathe as well as consume phytoplankton. Then we have the sea pig, which looks nothing like the pigs we have on land. But instead the sea pig is a multi-tubed foot sea creature that is closely related to the sea cucumber. It eats by pulling water and absorbing organic food. Quite innovative, even though it looks creepy. For more creepy sea creatures, check out the rest of the video for more. Most BIZARRE Creatures Found In Antarctica!

Check out the most bizarre creatures found in antarctica! This top list of rare and mysterious creatures discovered in the ice and the ocean is very strange! Tardigrade The tardigrade, also known as the water bear is nearly indestructible. Discovered in the late 1700s, this strange microscopic creature is an eight legged, clawed animal found around the world, even in the frozen tundra of Antarctica. Cited as the most resilient creature that exists, this little micro-animal can survive everything from above boiling temperatures to even the cruel conditions of outer space. Intense pressure and radiation aren't even enough to take down this little guy. They can survive thanks to a host of interesting adaptations, including a protein that shields radiation damage to DNA. Even more fascinating is that researchers were able to transfer this protein to human cells and it was able to prevent x-ray damage to DNA by up to 40%! The Tardigrade is able enter a state called Cryptobiosis in which metabolic processes stop. It is a state similar to death whenever conditions become too intense to overcome. This amazing creature feeds on plant and animal cell fluid as well as the fluid of some bacteria and is can be found in many patches of moss around the world. 9. “Hoff” Crab When it isn´t scuttling in slow-motion across the beach, the ´Hoff´crab finds its home deep in the thermal vents in between South America and Antarctica. It is named after famous Baywatch and Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff, due to the crabs unusually hairy chest. Despite being in one of the coldest locations on Earth, the ocean depths near Antarctica, the noble ´Hoff´crab has to endure scorching temperatures at over 300°C (570°F). This is because the thermal vents that they call home are actually the product of undersea volcanos and they heat the ocean and release chemicals into the water that the crab has to endure. It does this because it is not the only creature to survive these conditions, the volcanic gases are a breeding ground for bacteria. The ´Hoff´will trap these bacteria within it´s hairy chest for a tasty treat. Though called the ´Hoff´crab these animals are actually a type of squat lobster and were only recently discovered but already seem to have the support of their namesake who tweeted several references to the hairy, antarctic creatures. 8. Elephant Seal The aptly named Elephant Seal braces the sub-zero antarctic conditions as the resident heavyweight. As one of the largest carnivores alive today, the elephant seal can weigh close to 9000 pounds! They are easily recognized as males have a trunk-like nose that is used for various calls. Often living in close proximity to penguin colonies, the elephant seal is a territorial animal and males often fight each other for the right to mate with females. Often this will lead males to go long periods of time without eating as they remain on their territory to protect it from others. Known for being one of the seals species that spend the most time on land, the elephant seal can spend weeks without entering the water. Their huge bodies provide lots of blubber which can be used to keep warm and provide nourishment when food conditions are low. Though intimidating, they are still prey to the well coordinated orcas that patrol the Antarctic waters. 7. Sea Pig The noble sea pig is a close relative of the sea cucumber. This little guy is pudgy and pink just like his land counterpart. The sea pig however is just a little smaller at under six inches long on average, but it makes up for it in numbers. In fact, sea pigs make up a majority of the weight on many ocean floors including many parts of Antarctica. Being one of the few creatures that can survive the intense pressure of the ocean above, the sea pig has a soft body with inflatable limbs that help it maneuver the sea bed. These animals feed on leftover remnants of living creatures that have fallen into their home and hundreds will often gather around the husk of a dead whale that falls from above. Though they gather in large numbers they are not known to be social animals with each one simply sensing food along the ocean floor. Interestingly they will all face the same direction, though scientists are still unsure as to why.

5 EXTREMELY CREEPY Deep Sea Creatures

03:00
Here are 5 Extremely Creepy Deep Sea Creatures Click Here To Subscribe! http://bit.ly/EliteFacts List : 5. The Ningen This creature from the depths of the ocean may be just about the creepiest thing you could ever see. The reason for this, is that it looks just like a human even having strange limbs that resemble arms and legs. The name Ningen is actually human in Japanese. However, there is no need to panic and worry that the world will be taken over by strange alien sea creatures, because there has never been any official sightings of this little beastie and general opinion is that it’s just a freaky urban myth much like the mermaid. 4. Mantis Shrimp This rainbow hued little creature is not as nice as it looks. It is actually extremely clever and horribly dangerous. One of its main talents is being able to see colours that far surpass even the furthest imagination of humans. As well as, it is an efficient killing machine, it has two appendages at the front of its body which can lash out so powerfully that they cause the water surrounding the creature to reach boiling point! So, even the clever prey that have managed to avoid the physical attack will be rendered defenceless by the boiling water. 3. Pelican Eel Eel’s in general are quite creepy looking, but this one has taken it to another level. This slippery character is basically just a huge mouth with a tail attached. The mouth itself is absolutely terrifying, it unhinges so that its owner can catch prey that is twice its size. The chosen prey is then stored in a pouch within the lower jaw. However, the tail can be just as weird as it possesses a small light producing organ that is called a photophore and this gives off an eerie pink glow. 2. Humpback Anglerfish The female of this species most certainly has a licence to kill. She uses her feminine charm which comes in the form of a bioluminescent lure dangling over her forehead to draw in prey that she can destroy with her rows of ferocious teeth. 1. Predatory Tunicate This is basically a Venus Fly Trap that lives underwater. They are almost completely translucent and they stick themselves to the sea floor and wait patiently for a tasty meal to come along. Once an unsuspecting critter falls for the trap the creatures snap their hoods shut until they’ve had their fill. Thanks to those defense mechanisms, the Hagfish is rarely targeted by predators. #9 Sarcastic Fringehead Measuring about 12 inches long, the unusual looking fish can be highly temperamental and territorial. To defend itself, and animal will expand its huge mouth, then flex and snap its jaws. When two fringeheads have at it, their gaping mouths grapple so closely that they look like they're kissing. #8 Frilled Shark While this animal is fairly well dispersed about the globe, they’re unlikely to been seen … since they usually live more than 4,000 feet deep in the oceans. They’re often cited as living fossils because the eel-like creature have changed very little over some 80 million years. Their mouth contains 300 sharp, triangular teeth, and they have a snake like motion when they strike prey. Did you know it name is a reference to the six pair of gill slits that appear frilled. #7 Blobfish It’s visage is often compared to that of a grumpy old bloke, and little wonder why. While it appears unsavory, the slimy gelatinous skin serves a vital role in the animal’s survival. The blobfish lives at depths of around 4000 feet. Its unusual flesh allow the fish to expend less energy swimming by easily floating above the seafloor. #6 American Anglerfish With a flattened body that enables it to hid on the seafloor camouflaged in sediment until prey passes by the Anglerfish is recognized as an expert ambush predator. The mouth is filled with strong teeth and spines … and is large enough to trap prey larger than itself. #5 Harp Sponge It doesn’t seem obvious at first glance, but this actually a carnivorous creature that was found more than 11,000 feet deep off the coast of California. The sponge has branching limbs with barbed hooks that can ensnare prey, usually small crustaceans. Its unusual form is thought to be an adaptation to a deep sea environment. #4 Stargazer DId you know these creatures are sometimes referred to as the ‘meanest things in creation’? It’s not just due to their scary appearance … it’s also due to some scary abilities. All species are venomous, while select species are known to administer electric shocks to ward off predators. And their scary appearance serves a purpose. While it doesn't necessary scare off aggressors, their top-mounted eyes allow them to stay buried in the sandy sea floor until prey passes by overhead. #3 Hoodwinker Sunfish (thumb) In case you were wondering, no … the picture does not show an eccentric chef that has created a strange colored pancake on the beach. And even though it appears to have been run over by a steamroller, the flattened appearance is typical for the Ocean Sunfish. It’s also known as the Mola Mola, and is known for its massive size … on average weighing more than 2,200 pounds and measuring more than 8 feet from fin to fin. In 2014, a previously unknown species of the creature was discovered on a beach in New Zealand. This one is larger than other species of sunfish, weighing around 4,000 pounds and measuring 10 feet long. Even though it’s bigger, this species actually has a slimmer and sleeker build. While it’s also known as the Mola Tecta, the research team that discovered it called it the Hoodwinker Sunfish because the creature proved so difficult to locate. Did you know that this is the first species of sunfish to be identified in around 130 years? #2 Goblin Shark This critter has become something of a fan favorite on Epic Wildlife, so we’d be remiss to omit it. It’s best known feature is its mouth -- one of the scariest in the entire animal kingdom. They can catch prey with their razor sharp teeth by popping their jaws out of their mouths. It’s an unforgettable sight, and one that often draws comparison to the Xenomorph in Alien. Dwelling in frigid waters some 4000 feet deep, experts say they belong to a family that dates back around 125 million years. #1 Pacific Lampreys This sea creature looks like it was custom-made for a horror movie. Lampreys are among the most primitive of extant vertebrates remaining mostly unchanged over some 380 million years. Their scary mouths will clamp the lamprey onto larger fish (and even sperm whales) as a parasite to feed on blood and other bodily fluids.

While the man who found this creature is holding it up to show his friend we can see it moving it's legs. The creature seem to have an human like head with some sort of arms and legs. In my opinion this could be a new species of sea life or an mutated starfish I Don’t normally post content like this but the unknown and the spiritual world really fascinates me hence my love for paranormal horrors . ( ive digressed ) in this video you can see two figures pacing back and fourth in the clouds clear as day . the person who recorded also mentioned seeing a white dove . is that you jesus ? skip to the 2 minute mark Looked at this video very strange .I stop thinking about it since I filmed it, I went out of detection with my wife and rolled my eyes and laughing, I said to my wife: look There are some UFOs. And when I start filming, bun la, I realized that it was not a joke. What do you think ??? Ps: after watching it is seen that there is a mirage of the army coming from this direction, at the top right of the video towards the end. I'm waiting for your comment !!! The only thing I have researched that it might be is the TARS system (Tethered Aerostat Radar System). The military sold them to Border Control for border surveillance. But it said they were tethered, and this thing was definitely moving. * THANKS FOR WATCHING * *LIKE ! 5 Unexplained & Mysterious Deep Sea Creatures Caught On Camera 2016 Transcript: There is no doubt our oceans contain many mysteries and creatures that go beyond our imagination. Really. Just imagine how many deep sea creatures we havent found that would simply blow our mind if we ever caught them on camera... But today you are lucky because here are 5 Unexplained & Mysterious Deep Sea Creatures Caught On Camera! Prepare because here.... we begin... 1. The Corfu Island Creature A Scottish tourist named Harvey Robertson had the shock of his life as he found the image of a mysterious creature in his vacation’s pictures. Harvey was on a cruise with his family in Corfu when he took a series of photographs from the inside of a cave. But what he didnt notice was the monster he captured in a cave around the island of Corfu that has a snout and unusual eyes with very uncommon characteristics. Up to this day, biologists are still examining this mysterious sea creature but havent found one clue to what it can be. Although people are starting to think that this could be an animal from the Greek mythology. Interesting..... 2. Giant Pyrosome Divers in Australia have captured rare images of the Pyrostremma , or pyrosome sea creature off the coast of Tasmania. It is so rare that it has been dubbed as the 'Unicorn of the Sea' and can grow up to 30 metres long - the equivalent of two double-decker buses laid end-to-end. Its hollow, translucent, cylindrical body is made up of thousands of tiny clones called zooids that pull water through its tubes and feed on plankton before pushing the filtered water back out. (Say this while video is also playing) 3. The Flying Spaghetti Monster This unusual marine animal you are about to see was recently caught on camera near the coast of Angola.A team from BP was carrying out routine operations near an oil well, using a remotely operated underwater vehicle at a depth of 1325 metres, when they spotted the creature, which they nicknamed the flying spaghetti monster. Intrigued, they sent footage of it to Daniel Jones from the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, UK. Here is the footage of the mysterious deep sea creature. 4. The Mysterious Jellyfish The video you are about to see shows a very strange deep sea creature that was unexpectedly floating into view on an oil ridge camera. The mysterious sea creature was spotted 5 thousand feet deep in the gulf of New Mexico 2 years ago but was just identified by a marine biologist. After so much research, The biologist then found out that this strange creature you are about to see is actually a giant deep sea jellyfish.Take a look at the footage... 5. The Mysterious Giant Squid Squids are not known to spend time at the surface and usually live deep underwater which are most commonly being discovered when they die and wash up on the beaches. In the video you are about to see, a the massive squid comes close to the submerged camera as a crowd of spectators marvel in complete awe. Could the legendary Giant squid squid actually exist? Who knows, but here is the footage. BG Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b73t9SLss8k VIDEO LINKS: 1. The Corfu Island Creature 2. Giant Pyrosome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EQGA_4BZ5s 3. WEIRD EXPLODING SEA CREATURE

05:21
Hey guys, Bill here. With more than 90% of the world’s oceans unexplored, we all know there are some really strange creature out there. But this one is probably as weird as it gets. The video goes by the name of "Weird Exploding Sea Creature" and it was sent in by Mark Paccone, 99 Strikes, and Boxxy Trolley, Thomas Revels, Shawn Ratsinger, SSgame just to name a few. The video shows a group of Japanese guys fishing at the ocean. At one point they spot these strange looking creatures hanging on to the rocks. The creatures scatter when the men approach to investigate, but they do manage to find one alone. The men poke at it, turn it over, even pour Coca Cola on it. But before they can figure out what it is, it vomits some kind of fluid on the men, and then explodes. Now as you can imagine, the thing that everyone wants to know about this is - and do I need to say it? Is this video Real? Or is some kind of Japanese horror movie Fake? Why don’t we poke around and see what we can find out. INVESTIGATION REPORT As I started looking around, I quickly realized this was not going to be easy. All my usual sources such as snopes, hoax busters, and even Hoax Slayer had absolutely no data at all on this odd little video. I turned my attention to the multiple copies of this thing posted on Youtube, but didn’t get very far with that either. It just all turned into Japanese after a while and even Google translate couldn’t figure out what they were talking about in the comments. I even posted it on my Facebook too see anyone recognized the creature - There were a few suggestions - like possible sea pig slug, but nothing I could pin down for sure. Man, this thing was frustrating. I was almost ready to give up when I remembered - when the going gets tough here at billschannel, the tough just turn to the “A” team for some help. In this case, Brant Reiter, an American who has spent many years working in Japanese media… BRANT: Tthis video comes from a collection of videos in Japan that was released as a DVD called Ura Horror. Ura in Japanese means Hidden or secret. But it is presented as horror stories from real life. Thanks to Brant, who speaks Japanese, we were able to track down the whole series and found the full length version of the video. In this version it is introduced by a young girl who is disguised. BRANT: I can’t really get it all because her voice is disguised… but she says the video was recorded by a relative of hers who later died in a car accident. They tried to take the tape to a bunch of TV stations, but no one would broadcast it. OK, well, that’s a lot of information but thanks to all my friends on Facebook and Brant I do have the answer here. But first, let’s recap what we know. The video comes from a collection of so called, secret, or untold horror stories. But the creators of the video claim what they recorded comes from real life. On the other hand, I couldn’t find anyone who recognized the creature or could name it. But then again, Over 90% of our oceans are unexplored and it could be something new. Now based on everything I have been able to gather, I’m judging the Exploding sea creature video… A fake. First off, I don’t think there is any creature that vomits on people like that. It doesn’t make any sense biologically. And secondly, as Terry Woolhead pointed out on facebook - When they flip the creature over, there are no ligaments or any structures that would give it the ability to move as quickly as it does in the earlier scene. And finally, if you watch the explosion at the end, it is clearly computer generated. My thanks to all the people who sent this in and to Brant for helping us out… and remember, if you have a picture or video and you’re not quite sure if it is real or not… send it to me at [email protected] See you next time.

5 STRANGE Deep Sea Creatures - Part 1?

06:56
Its pitch black, extremely cold, immensely pressurised, low in food and oxygen and insanely vast. I'm of course talking about the Deep Sea. To survive in inconceivably extreme environments like this, animals of the deep must be pretty unbelievable. They are. Mainly because these mysterious creatures have adapted in ways that will surely blow your mind away - for a multitude of reasons. At a depth of 1800 meters or more it’s the largest habitat on earth, so let’s explore 5 unbelievable creatures found there. Watch the video for a more informative and entertaining experience (though the list is below): ➢5. The Spotlight Loosejaw This alien from the deep has highly-adapted weaponry and surveillance gear. It has a bioluminescent flashlight below its eyes that is undetectable to its prey and has an incredibly large and fast jaw. ➢4. The Barreleye Fish This animal has adapted in a unique way, to say the least. It's got a transparent head and unusual barrelled eyes. got 360 degree vision and is so illusive that only one has ever been filmed. ➢3. Cookiecutter shark Don’t let this deep sea creatures silly name and wide smile fool you because it's actually really vicious and definitely doesn't pick fights on creatures of its own size. This is because it preys on just about every large and medium-sized creature it shares an ocean with, from whales to seals and even other sharks. ➢2. Giant Isopod These bottom feeders are thought to live at depths of up to 2200 meters where they like to burry themselves in the mud for protection. They have an extremely slow metabolism to conserve energy and can starve themselves for years. ➢1. Wolf-Trap Angler An anglerfish with an unusual jaw, which is how it got its name. The anglerfish is certainly an unbelievable creature more generally though. It hunts with some sort of fishing rod on its head and when it comes to reproducing the male simply bites the female... eternally.

TOP 10 Mythical SEA CREATURES

06:51
Check out the STORE: http://www.viralkiller.one Welcome to Mega Top Tens. In this video, we will explore the top 10 mythical sea creatures. Number 10. Cthulhu. Cthulhu is an undersea monster and has been described as a mix between a giant octopus, a man and a dragon... It is hundreds of meters tall, with human-looking arms and legs and a pair of wings on its back. Cthulhu's head looks like an octopus, with tentacles surrounding its supposed mouth... H. P. Lovecraft's story, "The Call of Cthulhu", established the character as a malevolent entity hibernating within an underwater city in the South Pacific called R'lyeh... Games company TSR included an entire chapter on the Cthulhu mythos in Deities & Demigods (1980)… Number 9. Leviathan. The Leviathan of the Middle Ages was used as an image of Satan, attempting to eat God’s creatures... Leviathan became associated with, and may originally have referred to, the visual motif of the Hellmouth, a monstrous animal into whose mouth the damned disappear at the Last Judgement... Young Earth Creationists argue that both the Leviathan and the Behemoth in the Bible could only have been dinosaurs that they claim still existed when the Book of Job was written... In the study of demonology, the Leviathan is one of the seven princes of Hell and its gatekeeper.

Mysterious Sea Creatures Spotted On Google Earth!

Check out these mysterious sea creatures spotted on google earth! From giant creatures to gigantic unidentified deep sea animals, these strange and bizarre creatures caught on camera are absolutely mysterious! Oke Bay Creature An engineer by the name of Pita Witehira was the first person to discover a weird looking sight in the water in Oke Bay, New Zealand. Pita was researching the area when he noticed an unexplained wake that could have only been left by something huge. In fact, Pita believed that the creature that left the wake had to have been at around 40 feet long (12 m). Because of the length and width of the wake, Pita new it could not have been a shark or whale. He further states that the creature was moving too quickly and sharply in order to be a whale. Pita contacted Google, and Google told him that it could have been some type of boat. But Pita did not agree with Google. He said that there was not white foam from the boat motor. Pita then suggested that it could be a Taniwha, which is a creature from Maori mythology. A Taniwha is a creature that lives in deep pools in rivers, dark caves, or in the sea, especially in places with dangerous currents or deceptive breakers. They often live in areas with large waves and look like whales or large sharks. However, there are some that think the Oke Bay Creature is a hoax. They say if you zoom in enough in the Google image you can see a boat. It’s up for you to decide for yourself! 7.) Giant Centipede In waters close to Scotland, Google Earth captured what appeared to look like a giant centipede. The image was shot from a space satellite. If you look closely into the waters, you can see what looks like a long light-colored rope looking thing, with tiny little fibers coming out of However, this is not a large rope. If you compare an image of a centipede and the image of the possible giant centipede in the Scottish waters, they are very similar! According to theorists, this giant centipede is believed to be over 120 meters (390-feet), just swimming along, minding its own business as the image was being taken. Of course, the first reaction for many people was to wonder if this image was real or fake. People began to debate on what the giant centipede really could be, if you ruled it out. Some viewers stated that it was just a hoax while others wondered if it was a shadow from something else. There were also users that questioned if it was some type of technical glitch in the Google Earth system. Or was it Loch Ness?? Or something else? 6.) Giant Crab After a photograph of a giant crab, made its way around the internet, people began speculating whether the Google earth image was real or fake. Nicknamed Crabzilla, it is believed that the crab is about 50 feet long (15.2 m). The picture was taken off the harbor at Whitstable, Kent. It was made popular by the area’s Weird Whitstable, which is a website devoted to strange things of the area. The owner of the website, Quinton stated, "At first all I could see was some faint movement, then as it rose from the water I thought, 'that’s a funny looking bit of driftwood.” He then went on to say, "It had glazed blank eyes on stalks, swiveling wildly and it clearly was a massive crab with crushing claws.” If Crabzilla is a true crab, it will knock the 12-foot Japanese Spider Crab off the world’s largest list. But with most sea monsters, there are doubters. Sea-life expert Dr. Verity Nye, who has worked on logging new species of crab, said it is impossible one of the creatures could grow so big. While Dr. Nye admits to not knowing what the area around the harbor looks like, she does claim that it is more likely someone is messing with the image.
