An everyman's guide to wearing a pocket watch

11:03
This is my personal method for wearing a pocket watch, I am certainly not any sort of professional style authority or fashion aficionado type person, so this is based on my own way, not the "proper" wayof wearing a pocket watch so if I'm wrong, I'm wrong! I'm just trying to point people in the general direction I did post this type of video before, but it was deleted (apparently by myself) a while ago, so re-made and re-uploaded it

I styled 3 outfits inspired by the popular fashions of twenty years ago! From Rachel Green from Friends, to Natalie Imbruglia and Sporty Spice of the Spice Girls, I had a great time pretending it was 1997 and letting my inner 90s child shine through. First 10 Mens Dress Shirts You Should Buy

Check out these must-have dress shirts: https://bit.ly/classy-dress-shirts-for-men Guides you shouldn't miss: - 13 Most Over and Underrated Dress Shirts for Men - https://bit.ly/2K7GKwB - All about OCBD: https://bit.ly/2ytPVWz - Iron dress shirts like a Pro! - https://bit.ly/2JTTJFU SHOP THE VIDEO: 1. Madder Silk Tie in Bottle Green Macclesfield Neats - https://bit.ly/2JUMPAp 2. Silk Pocket Square in Brown - https://bit.ly/2yphbFE 3. Mid Brown and Green Shadow Stripe Ribbed Socks - https://bit.ly/2twsTZF While dress shirts form the foundation of a classic man’s wardrobe, they're often overlooked in favor of suits, shoes, or accessories, however, if you get your first dress shirts wrong, it's much harder to combine them with other things and you may not get the wear out of them you desire. So with these 10 dress shirts, you'll basically be equipped for all classic men's style outfits yet you really cover just the basics so you don't spend more money than you ultimately have to. Basically, there are always three main considerations; one is the color shirt, then the type of fabric, as well as the shirt details. 1. Plain white solid dress shirt in a plain weave. I suggest to go with a medium spread collar as well as barrel cuffs because it allows you to wear it in more formal and less formal settings but it's something you can pair with jeans or denim, as well as with a very formal business suit. 2. Fancy weave white dress shirt with double cuffs or French cuffs. I'm wearing one like that right now. It has a subtle waffle pattern weave which makes it slightly different than a plain weave in the sense that if you look at it very closely and the light shines in a certain direction, you can see it has a pattern, however, from a few feet away or a few meters away, you think it's a solid shirt with a nice depth of color. 3. Light blue dress shirt. It should be made of a medium fabric, ideally, plain weave. Again, barrel cuffs, no pocket and French placket. 4. Light blue shirt but now, make sure that the color shade is slightly different than the one you had previously. You can go darker, you can go lighter, just make sure it's different. Also, for the fabric itself, I suggest you get maybe something in a twill weave because it's a new small weave pattern that you don't already have and it's a very classic thing, it is hard wearing and it's particularly good in a slightly heavier fabric maybe for winter because you want to have a variety of shirts in your wardrobe. 5. Ivory color It should be distinctly different from white if you hold them next to each other, however, it's so close to white on its own that most people would never realize you're not wearing a plain white dress shirt, however, plain white works really best with dark colors. It could be a dark green, dark blue, dark charcoal, or black, however, when you pair it with warmer colors such as brown, all of a sudden, the white just looks wrong. 6. Striped shirt with a white background in a blue stripe. The size of the blue stripe is up to you. I'd stay away from extremely fine ones or extreme bold ones, go with something in the middle down the line because that will work well with all kinds of solid suits. 7. Striped shirt but this time, I'd suggest you go with a light blue background and a white stripe. Ideally, the stripe should be different from what you already had so I'd suggest go more with a finer stripe rather than with a bolder stripe because you want it to be super versatile. 8. Checked shirt and can either be a light blue check on a white background or you can maybe go with a red and blue check on a white background. It just adds an additional color to your shirt wardrobe and red and blue are staples in a classic man's wardrobe so you'll always be able to wear it, it never looks out of place, it'll look good with a blazer. 9. Oxford cloth button-down shirt It's an American staple, it's a very hard-wearing cloth. I'll get it in a light blue color because the Oxford fabric has strands of different colors in white and blue so it gives a nice color effect. 10. Soft washed denim dress shirt 10-15 years ago, it wasn't really something that men would actually wear. In recent years, it has become so popular that men stock loads of them. In general, a soft washed denim dress shirt really tones down any kind of formal garment you have. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? How to Learn to Ski

Step 1: Dress to ski Before you head to the slopes, make sure you're dressed properly. Wear several layers of warm clothes, thick socks, waterproof pants, a hat or headband, ski gloves or mittens, and a ski jacket. Tip Wear protective sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes from the glare of both the sun and the snow. Step 2: Get equipped Buy or rent ski equipment: skis, poles, and boots with bindings. Have a professional ski tuner select the right length and type of ski for you, and have them adjust the bindings--which keep your ski boots attached to your skis--for your weight and beginner status. Tip In general, beginners should rent ski equipment, as your needs will change as you improve. Eventually, once you’re skiing a lot and know what you want, you can buy. Step 3: Start out slowly Begin on a flat surface. Get the feel of the skis by slowly walking around, knees slightly bent. Slide one ski ahead of the other, avoiding the temptation to lean backwards. Step 4: Head to the bunny slope Once you feel comfortable in your skis, head to the smallest hill, or 'bunny slope.' Here you’ll probably find a 'rope tow' to hold onto--or a conveyor belt called a 'magic carpet' to stand on--that will get you to the top of the hill. Keep your skis straight as you’re heading up! Tip Consider taking lessons; it’s the best way to learn. Step 5: Position yourself When you reach the top of the bunny hill, position your skis so they are facing across the slope of the hill, not down it. You don’t want your skis taking off before you’re ready! Step 6: Form the snowplow Practice the snowplow, or wedge, position. With your legs slightly bent and your weight on the balls of your feet, bring the tips of your skis together and the tails of your skis apart--like an upside down 'V.' Step 7: Begin to move downhill Gently point your skis down the hill. Keeping them in the wedge position will prevent you from picking up too much speed. Let yourself slowly glide down the hill, widening the angle of your wedge if you need to slow down. Tip If you fall--and you will!--get up with your skis facing across the slope. Step 8: Practice turning Once you’re comfortable snowplowing, you’re ready to start turning. Simply shift your weight onto the ski opposite the direction you want to turn. For example, to turn right, shift your weight onto your left ski. Stay in your wedge! Step 9: Keep turning To avoid coming to a stop, turn in one direction, then the other. Proceed down the hill in this lazy zigzag fashion. Step 10: Slow down and stop Now practice slowing down and stopping. To slow down, bend your knees and shift your weight forward, widening your wedge. To stop, initiate a turn and follow through until your skis are perpendicular to the direction of the slope. You will naturally come to a stop. Tip If you ever feel out of control, it is always better to squat down and fall on your side than to run into another person or object. Step 11: Practice Continue gliding, turning, slowing, and stopping in the snowplow position. Before you know it, you’ll be bidding the bunny slope goodbye forever! Did You Know? In 1970, Yuichiro Miura of Japan became the first person to ski on Mt. Everest, and in 2003, when he was 70, became the oldest person to reach its summit.

I Wore The Ugliest Jacket In The World For A Week

14:54
It's finally autumn! And so, for my next installment of "questionable fashion decisions", I wore the Y/Project Oversized Denim Jacket with super long sleeves, which many people have roasted on twitter and in articles. It's definitely one of the weirdest fashion trends of 2017! What do you guys think? Would you wear this? Is this the "ugliest jacket in the world"? To clarify: I never said I was actually returning it, I said "we'll see!" as a joke, knowing I've done a lot of stuff in it and implying that they would probably not let me return it. Shadow Stripe Ribbed Socks Light Brown and Blue - https://gentl.mn/2r0lOjg 4. Eagle Claw Cufflinks with Tiger's Eye Balls - https://gentl.mn/2KeMS6t Trad is an adaptation of the North Eastern American style which is not as popular as prep or Ivy style. Arguably, trad is the most classic and refined version of this northern American style. It's, in fact, a somewhat contemporary take on the fashions of the roaring 20s. Its core is similar to Ivy style, trad was born as a form of rebellion against the fathers and the parents. It was a way for students to develop their own identity using clothes that were somewhat related to what their fathers would have deemed appropriate, at the same time, adding their own touch to it. Trad was way for young men to distinguish themselves from polo and boat shoes wearing young men as well as very stodgy old Saxon wearers. So what exactly is the difference between prep, Ivy, and trad style? Think about it this way, prep is the most casual style. Ivy is a notch up, and trad is even less casual and more formal than Ivy style. The entire purpose of trad is to maintain the conservative approach to clothing while adding a personal note without going overboard and looking like you're wearing a costume. So how would you dress in a trad style way? Well, first of all, think of it as using a very traditional approach with a bit of nonchalance. You just add more casual elements that would traditionally not work with your outfits, for example, that means you invest in a blue navy blazer or two in several three-piece or two-piece suits, as well as cardigans and sweater vests. However, instead of going with plain solid worsted colors you would mix it up and wear maybe a herringbone suit in brown or maybe a houndstooth flannel suit, or you would go with a faint windowpane on your navy suit, instead of going plain solid. So to mix it up, you would skip the matching vest with your suit and instead, opt for maybe a burgundy flannel vest or a doeskin vest or a moleskin vest or you could go with a blue tweed vest. In terms of neckwear, you can still wear neckties and bow ties, however, you can maybe go with slightly different knots. In terms of tie fabrics, madder silk ties were very popular and so were repp striped ties. The goal is to always express yourself in a sophisticated way that is different enough to break with the monotony of classic suits all the while not allowing people to pinpoint how your outfit is different. Obviously today, dress codes have relaxed a lot more and so it's okay for trads to wear slightly more colorful pocket squares or just things that are a little bit louder that might have not been considered 100% trad appropriate 50 years ago. I think trad is a wonderful concept because it allows people to wear suits that are not business suits and therefore they look more casual but they're still quite stylish. Of course the world, in general, has become more casual and so prep style and Ivy style are more popular today but if you want to mix things up and go a little bit more formal, trad might be the perfect way to do so. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? 5. (Part2) How To Identify Stock Market Direction (Trends) Part 2

04:33
This is Part 2 ; watch Part1 first here :http://youtu.be/u_YD2vfBefo How to learn how to gauge the future price of your stock? Visit http://marketscientist.in ------------------------------------------------------- Learn To Trade - How MarketScientist works: http://marketscientist.in/how-marketscientist-works-faqs/ MarketScientist Courses: http://marketscientist.in/courses/ Follow Prateek's Trading day @ mentor posts : http://marketscientist.in/category/prateek-singh-s-analysistrades-resident-marketscientist/ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello I'm Prateek Singh and welcome to part 2 of the market scientist episode concerning trends, If you haven't seen part 1 I suggest you got back and see it because you won't understand what tihis one is about I last left you with this image, I also asked you to find swing low in this chart. I hope you were able to do this because this is the answer if you did get everything right that's great if you went horribly wrong then I'd suggest you visit marketscientist.in The link is in the description; take the apprentice course, this is 100% free and will give you enough material to practise swing high and swing lows. So trends are made of swing highs and swing lows or waves, now a wave is a very natural part of the market, as I said in the previous video markets will generally move up and down in a gradual fashion over long periods of time. Now when you are going up or an uptrend we get higher swing lows and higher swing highs. Now it's easy to see this chart that very sing low was higher than the previous one and every swing high was higher than the previous swing high. This is called an uptrend, likewise a downtrend has lower swing highs and lower swing lows. So every swing high you see on this chart has a lower swing high than the previous one. So a set of lower swing highs/lows every time the market moves is a downtrend and a Set of higher swing highs/lows is an uptrend. Words may confuse but if you see charts then things become much simpler. Now the question still remains, how do we know when market is changing direction There are two things you should look it. When your stock is in an uptrend and it breaks the previous swing low the uptrend is now in question. When this happens we are looking to see if this fall continues or not, it could still continue the uptrend however if we make a LOWER swing high and continue down , we have the characteristics of a downtrend within a uptrend this means that the almost certainly this uptrend is now over and we will either go sideways or a bull blown downtrend. This is the same for a downtrend, when a previous swing high breaks and we get an higher swing low, markets continuing up to new highs we can safely assume at the downtrend is over and that a new uptrend has begun. Now these are general rules that can be used for all markets just make sure they are not spiky, or no volume. These will work great on nifty 50 stocks. as I have said before Marketscientist.in has an apprentice course which is free and has enough exercises to teach you trend change. I hope you learnt something in this series today and you can apply it in your trading, always remember that anything worth doing in life takes courage, patience and a lot of hard work. don't forget to like and subscribe to the videos and visit Marketscientist.in to sharpen your trading skills and learn to be a more profitable trader, we have tons of resources on the premium member section so I hope I see you there.

HAIR TRENDS 2018: hair colors, haircuts, hair styling | Justine Leconte

07:05
What are the new trends in haircut, hair color and hair styling for 2018? Do you know what tiger eye hair is? Is Taylor Swift's hair cut still a hit? As last year, I prepared the video ahead of the season, so you can see if the forecast comes true ;-) You might have seen some of those styles on Instagram (the French blogger mentioned is @babiolesdezoe) already, but overall the hair trends shown are going strong in 2018 more than in 2017 - or so I think and have observed during my research. Knowing & Believing, Acting & Intending (Timothy Williamson)

01:12:47
In this talk, Timothy Williamson (Oxford) develops and refines an analogy between knowledge and action (intentional doing). The general schema is: knowledge is to belief as action is to intention. The analogy reverses direction of fit: the former side should fit mind to world; the latter should fit world to mind. The knowledge/belief side of the analogy corresponds to the inputs to practical reasoning, the action/intention side to its output. Insofar as desire is an input to practical reasoning, it belongs to the former side (the desire-as-belief thesis is considered sympathetically). When all goes globally well with practical reasoning, one acts on what one knows. Beliefs play the same local role as knowledge, and intentions the same local role as action, in practical reasoning. This is the appropriate setting in which to understand knowledge norms for belief and practical reasoning. Marginalizing knowledge in epistemology is as perverse as marginalizing action in the philosophy of action. This talk was given at the College de France.

What is a Trend? With Pickuno.com!

03:34
http://pickuno.com -Here we discuss what are trends in the world of sports and how we at pickuno use it to support our sport picks. You will find a demonstration of a point scored chart with two teams. Hello everyone, this is the professional coming at you from pickuno.com headquarters. Today I am going to talk to you about trends. What are trends and how do we apply it to sports? Now keep in mind once is luck twice is a coincidence and three times is a trend. Remember this not only because it's our motto but because it is the basis of all trends. So! What is a trend? According to the dictionary of Miriam-Webster a trend is a general direction of change: a way of behaving, proceeding, etc. that is developing and becoming more common. Here at pickuno.com we consider a trend as a movement in a certain direction that allows the possibility to predict future movements. We have certain criteria that must be met. The first is that it must contain three points in a small amount of time. Let's say you are looking at a random chart between 1970 and 2012 you are bound to have any three points matching the same direction. That will not be considered a trend. The Next is that it must follow a general path. And finally strength in trends is what determines predictability. There are either weak trends or strong trends. Take a look at this chart of two teams during a 10 game stretch showing their scores. Team A is in blue and Team B is in red. With Team A, I can point out a small trend here. Now, this is a weak trend but why? Well as you can see by the pink circles they're all over the place for this trend and were broken immediately. You have a pink circle on the line and one above and below the trend line. This signals a weak trend. A stronger trend can be seen here. This has four points, moving in the same direction. But this trend was broken, WHY? Well the blue circle follows the trend, but can be considered as a signal of a reversal because it is above the trend line rather than below it. This trend line is a strong trend line. It has 6 points all going in the same direction with a seventh also going in the same area. However this seventh point, that is highlighted in yellow is above the trend line and has broken it. This is signaling a break in the trend. Again, another signal for a reversal. This is getting into the field of technical analysis and is what we do here at pickuno but at a much more in-depth level. Finally we must look for it to support our fundamentals. Now does it match whether we say a game was going over. Let's say we were at the time of the yellow circle and realized this break in the trend as a reversal. Their next game their line is at 131 and we have the fundamentals pointed to an over. Well, we now can support it with the Technicals and say that this team can score over 75 points, as they did, due to their chart pattern. The over is now looking like a solid pick. But of course you must take it in the context of sports. If your trending basketball a college team is not going to score 120 points even if their trend lines show this. Also never pick a team based off of their chart. This goes back to using Technicals as support of fundamentals because with out the fundamental analysis we would be shooting in the dark. Now Remember once is luck twice is a coincidence and three times is a trend. Don't forget to like this video and follows us in twitter we are @pickuno and we post our free picks daily. Thank You.

The Blackbird Camera Stabilizer Review

11:13
http://www.learningdslrvideo.com/blackbird-stabilizer-review/ I need to get a DSLR stabilizer with a gimbal type device to take me from point at A to point B within a scene or just being able to orbit around something is a very smooth fashion. With The Blackbird stabilizer I have done a lot of running, walking, circling, following, walking along side, walking backwards, crane up, crane down over the last month or so. I even worked on a promotional piece for a local photographer where I used it. My Experience Level While watching my b-roll, I want to make sure you understand my experience level using these devices is pretty low, I only have a couple of months of use with them. So keep in mind while watching this review, that I am not an expert at this at all. One of the things I struggled with the GlideCam HD2000 that I review a year ago was getting horizontal swaying, on this Blackbird unit I seem to get less on that, now that could be because I am getting better that this, or it could be that the Blackbird designed better with their SmoothTouch Friction Adjuster. If I were to guess it is because I am learning how to use my guiding or steering hand better. So some of you might be asking what one of these devices can do for you. Here is a quick comparison what a DSLR stabilizer with a gimbal can do. First off we have a handheld shot with nothing but the camera and the lens, you can see each bumpy step I take, next up we Manfrotto Fig Rig you can see it is an improvement but still not super smooth, next up you have the Blackbird which is the smoothest. Now remember I am not that good at this yet and you can expect similar results to mine on your first start time out. If want to see what I pro can do with one of these type of device you need to check out Devin Graham channel, the guy is amazing! I hope to be that good some day. Price It seems that the gimbal type of stabilizers basically come in two price ranges, the $100-$400 range and the $400 to $800 range. So the basic Blackbird system is $470 is competing with GlideCam and Merlin SteadyCam devices that are well built. It is slightly cheaper than the Glidecam and much less than the Merlin. From CMR Camera Motion Research comes in two models 2050A for around $670 and the BB100 for around $470. The Full Kit has the exact same stabilizer as the Basic. But the Full Kit adds 4 accessories which are: 1) Case with die-cut foam 2) Universal docking bracket 3) Tripod quick change adapter 4) Resting stand Lens and Camera Used Now I have been using this with my Tamron 24mm-70mm with VC turned on. I'm sure the VC is helping get smoother shots, and 24mm on my full frame Canon 5D Mark III is wide enough for most of the stuff I have used it for. Another reason you want to use wide angle lenses is you can't see the screen because of sunlight or passing in and out of shade quickly. Sometimes you just have to point it in the general direction of your talent because you are too busy walking on rocks and can't look at the screen. I like using my Manfrotto quick release plates because they are on everything I have, my tripod, monopod, slider so I can quickly move my camera to each device. Luckily there is enough travel on this axis to place it in such away that I can actually release the lever. So is this the DSLR stabilizer with a gimbal for me? Given how well it is made, I think it is actually worth the money for the basic BB100 version, the Glidecam HD2000 is actually more expensive and not as well built. But $470 is still a ton of money for most of us. Oh, I am having a hard time deciding which one to buy, this one, or one of the cheaper models that might go out of balance quicker and not as well made. It might be like a tripod purchase were you save up for it since it will last a long time instead of buying a cheaper one that disappoints, and you end up buying the more expensive one later anyway. Youtuber Inspired Back to School Outfits

09:03
The most torturous day of the year is returning...you know what I'm talking about, going back to school. We can't escape it so we might as well look on fleek while strutting through campus. I decided to create five men's fashion outfit ideas inspired by notable youtubers including Connor Franta, Troye Sivan, Tyler Oakley, Alfie Deyes and Joey Graceffa. THESE OUTFITS WERE INSPIRED BY THESE YOUTUBERS. You can always play around with fashion, have fun with it! Love you guys! SONG CREDITS GO TO Demi Lovato - Cool For The Summer Rihanna - Bitch Better Have My Money Support these artists by buying the singles on iTunes! For any of the items talked about on this video, visit the store's website to see if you can find anything before actually going to the store or order it online: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/index.jsp http://us.topman.com/?geoip=home http://www.pacsun.com/ http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Homepage.jsp http://www.glamourkills.com/ This video was inspired mostly by the various unique fashion senses of each youtuber including the ones mentioned in this video including Connor Franta, Troye Sivan, Tyler Oakley, Alfie Deyes, Joey Graceffa, ThatsoJack, Andrew Lowe, Rickey Thompson, Lohanthony, Drumaq, Alex Reininga, Mikey Murphy, Luke Korns, Twaimz, Marcus Butler, Joe Sugg, Caspar Lee, Aidan Alexander, MarkE Miller, Ryannminajj, Nickalaws, GayGod, Wickeydkewl, Miles Jai and Official Bradlee. Also inspired by certain beauty gurus like MakeupbyMandy24, MayBaby, Aspyn Ovard, RCLBeauty, Teala Dunn, GraveyardGirl, PatrickStarr, Lauren Elizabeth, Emily June, Ingrid Nilsen and GiGi Gorgeous. To replace my July Favorites/Haul video and my recently deleted by youtube, June Favorites/Haul video...I decided to make this video.

The role of wardrobe in film - Afterglow

04:25
Here's an interview almost gone wrong (in a good, fun way). What do you do when you interview a funny, irreverent person prone to spinning out of control and off the table top? Well, you point the camera in his general direction and let him go. Jed C. Davis was head of wardrobe on the film Afterglow. What started as a bit of a dog's breakfast ended being very informative about wardrobe - a department, aspect of film making that's often overlooked. Jed talks about how important clothing - authentic vintage, not just retro inspired or reproduction clothing - is to get the audience to buy into the period, period pieces. In this short clip we get a brief glimpse of Mary Neely (female lead), Sawyer Spielberg (male lead), Paul Sand (major character and award winning actor), Rochelle Linnetz (Producer), and some of the dancers. Not shown in this clip is Tracy Dillon, a character that is key in a very surprising way. Afterglow is an indie film that received favorable reviews and was also Vimeo staff pick. Filmed at Four Aces. One of the Antelope Valley's best film sets.

Men!! Dearie me, they just don’t listen do they?! How does sending me a message saying will be there an hour earlier help at all? Just puts me under more pressure… what a plonker! Out dancing till late – again, of course – only a few short hours sleep, not had my first coffee, no semblance of a sensible head, act not at all together, struggling to get ready, not forget anything and get out of the door. But we’ll come back to that in a moment… It’s April 2018. It’s Sunday and strangely enough quite a lovely day. :) How did Yorkshire’s famous spa town end up being the meeting spot of tradition? I do quite like the place - it’s properly Victorian. :) Having said that, however… So, we’re walking down from Bettys in the general direction of Valley Park just a few doors down when my attention is drawn to a shop window. A small band is setting up their gear. The bass player has his back turned running out a few riffs. I’m curious to the make and model, when I become aware of the drummer standing amused, beckoning us inside. It’s tiny bar, a music venue. There’s a few outside around the doorway with drinks. Not many inside. “What do you think?” He doesn’t seem at all keen. “Lets’ go inside, have a drink and see what the music is like. He’s definitely not keen. Fizzy apple juice for me, small lager for him, I start conversation with two at the bar. We’re warned the place will fill and surely it does. All the other girls are in jeans, tee shirts, such, I’m in my elegant dress, cardi, stilettoes! Within minutes the place is crammed, there’s precious space to stand, the band kick off, covers of good rock and roll. They’re just great – ok, so how can I not dance? It what I do!  I twirl, move, create a space in my heels. I feel eyes around me. Some stare. I pull a couple of nearby men into my rhythm. Other girls start to sway. No longer the crazy instigator just start of the party! :) He’s getting even less keen. Each song betters the last. I just can’t leave. Smiles with those around. We’re in the place, We’re in the mood. This is my world – music, dance, social, happy… :) x Ok so, time to devote him a moment or two… a couple of lattes, nice chat... He’s been patient – sort of... If I stop for a moment and think about my life it all seems quite unbelievable. Fortunately, on the run most of the time so stopping or musing about life’s deeper meanings isn’t an option. I’ve been doing this now for a little over 2 years - In a funny way blessed to have the option to reset, to regenerate life newly in a way according to my desires. :) Amanda x

Sunglasses Why Do They Matter?!

09:20
This one is probably going to earn me some hate messages! But why do sunglasses matter...especially when it comes to my videos? For me, sunglasses are an important part of men's fashion. They're one of the few accessories that go on your face. They're a form of expression, a way to show who you are and even your mood. When it comes to eyewear, I'm more a fan of the luxury designer category. I love cool sunglasses just like I love watches, even though I do not trade them like I frequently do with timepieces. Most of the glasses that I buy are hand-made by companies that just focus on making designer sunglasses. Even though not every single person is a fan of watches, everyone loves sunglasses! Let me cover first the best models of designer sunglasses that I love and use, then answer a few questions I get asked a lot. Dita Sunglasses Dita tends to be one of the most popular, mass produced brands that I wear. I go through different moods and the glasses I'm wearing sometimes reflect that, like the Ditta Classe model on my video. It's one of the pairs that I've received the most questions on since we started the channel. Mykita Sunglasses Mykita glasses are more exclusive and luxury designer type glasses than Dita. I called the ones on this video my “Dracula shades!” These puppies are made out of titanium and will set you back around $850. Super Glasses These glasses are referred to by some as “Super” glasses. “Retro Super Future” (RSF), is the official name of the brand, which is very exclusive. The particular models on the video are wayfarers. They look a little bit like Ray-Bans and are hand-made in Italy. They're all about quality, quality, quality! Why Do I Wear Sunglasses on My Videos? I get asked this a lot, both on YouTube and in person. I just wear them because that's part of Watch Your Style theme of the channel. I just like to! However, it's not something I'll do in front of a customer on a face-to-face encounter. On the videos, it's a different story. If you think about it, who cares?! If you came to hear me talk about watches, just listen and don't get so anal about what's on my face! Lol. Do I Match My Sunglasses To My Outfit? Another question I get often and the answer is a resounding “yes.” That's the reason I have so many sunglasses in the first place. Just like with watches, I like to be very exclusive with my designer glasses. Attention to detail is the key! Do I Match My Glasses to My Watch? Not necessarily. I normally match my eyewear to my overall outfit, not necessarily to my watch. There are exceptions though, especially if the sunglasses I'm wearing have a lot of metal (gold, etc.) in the design (which may require wearing a specific watch to match the metal color). And by the way, for this video I'm wearing a 44-millimeter AP Royal Oak Offshore with a ceramic bezel, which is in the trial phase of my watch collection! So to conclude, why do I wear sunglasses? Because pretty much I like the darn things! How do you feel about sunglasses in general and about the ideas I've shared above? Share this video with someone that's into men's fashion and luxury! How to Knit a Scarf! DIY Scarf and a Round Knitting Loom. For Knitting or Crochet Beginners

11:20
This DIY scarf tutorial shows how to knit a scarf on a knitting loom. I show how to knit step by step for beginners slowly on a round knitting loom! This tutorial is perfect for knitting or crochet beginners. To knit or to crochet a scarf is just awesome, since you can choose colors to keep it fashionable. This is another easy and simple beauty and fashion DIY. Making a knit scarf is super easy, quick and simple on a round knitting loom! I don't know anything about knitting or crochet in general, I don't even know how to make a simple knit stitch, but knitting on a knitting loom is so simple to learn that really everyone can do it. Therefore this is a perfect knitting for beginners tutorial that shows how to knit a scarf step by step slowly. Round knitting loom is usually used for DIY beanie hat, but this tutorial shows how to knit a scarf with a loom. If you're wondering how to knit a blanket you will also find the answer in this tutorial. The same technique that is used for scarf knitting can also be used to knit a blanket or other rectangular piece (a plane). In the video I give slow and step by step scarf loom instructions. The tools I used to make a scarf are a knitting needle, knitting hook, yarn, scissors and home made knitting loom. As you'll see scarf loom knitting is simple and I find it very relaxing to knit on these long dark winter days. The knitting loom that I am using to knit a scarf is the same that I used for my DIY beanie tutorial. http://sarabeautycorner.com/ At the beginning of the video you'll find a quick DIY loom tutorial which shows how to easily make a loom at home. In this DIY tutorial I also show how to crochet a scarf at the end. I haven't found a good How to crochet for beginners tutorial that would teach me how to crochet a scarf. So I filmed a very slow and detailed how to crochet a scarf ending tutorial which is included in the video. Clothing pieces like beanie, scarf, socks and sweaters that you knit yourself always carry a great sentimental value. This is why they are a perfect Christmas or birthday present for your loved ones.
