The Truth About Dairy Products - Is Dairy Good Or Bad For You?
The Ripped Dude Program https://rippeddude.com/ The truth about dairy products/is dairy bad for you? The short answer is that it depends, firstly on you, what dairy you're consuming and how much of it you are consuming. A common argument against dairy products is that they’re “unnatural” because we are the only animals to drink the milk from other animals long-term. This is true, but it doesn’t change whether something is nutritionally valuable. Around 75% of people in the world have a slight-severe Another common point is that areas of the world with the least consumption of dairy, have the lowest rates of osteoporosis. This is interesting, but only a correlation. However, dairy is not all good and there are various reasons why I never drink milk A 2016 meta analysis gathered information from all previous years best randomised controlled trials and observational studies and looked at the risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, cancer, and all-cause mortality. The conclusion was that; “An intake of milk and dairy products contribute to meet nutrient recommendations, and may protect against the most prevalent chronic diseases, whereas very few adverse effects have been reported” This review of 10 studies found the consumption of milk is associated with a statistically significant reduction of the risk for heart disease as well as stroke risk. Dairy increases insulin and IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor 1). This is a potential reason why dairy is associated with acne. Insulin and IGF-1 aren’t bad all the time. For example, they are important for muscle growth. However, with excess, these increases could become potential problems. Some research suggests that dairy reduces the risk for colorectal cancer, but increases the risk for prostate cancer. I think determining whether dairy is good or bad comes down to looking at how you personally respond to it. If you are intolerant to gluten then you’re likely intolerant to pasteurised milk. If so, grass-fed butter, high in vitamin k-2, CLA and omega-3 can be a potential substitute for more potent lactose containing dairy products like milk. Aim for goat and sheep dairy products over cows and try to buy things such as probiotic yogurt instead of flavoured chocolate yogurt (which has added sugar). Dairy in general is not the most gut-friendly food, and a lot of our health is defined by the state of the microbiome and microbiome diversity in our gut. Too much dairy for many people can cause discomfort, stomach aches and has nutrients which can be consumed elsewhere without these unwanted effects. The best move is to try and eliminate dairy for 20-30 days, or reduce it and keep all variables the same. If you feel a difference, then you know that dairy wasn’t suited for your body i the amount you were consuming it.

What is NON-DAIRY CREAMER? What does NON-DAIRY CREAMER mean? NON-DAIRY CREAMER meaning - NON-DAIRY CREAMER definition - NON-DAIRY CREAMER explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ Non-dairy creamers or coffee whiteners are liquid or granular substances intended to substitute for milk or cream as an additive to coffee, tea, hot chocolate or other beverages. They do not contain lactose and therefore are commonly described as not being dairy products, although many contain casein, a milk-derived protein. Dry granular products do not need to be refrigerated and can be used and stored in locations which do not have a refrigerator. Liquid non-dairy creamers should be tightly capped and refrigerated after opening. Some non-dairy creamers contain sweeteners and flavours, such as vanilla, hazelnut or Irish cream. As with other processed food products, low calorie and low fat versions are available for non-dairy creamers. To replicate the mouthfeel of milk fats, nondairy creamers often contain hydrogenated vegetable-based fats, although nonfat nondairy creamers/whiteners also exist. Other common ingredients include solidified corn syrup and other sweeteners or/and flavourings (such as French vanilla, hazelnut and Irish cream); as well as sodium caseinate, a milk protein derivative (from casein) that does not contain lactose. The use of a milk derivative prompts some individuals and organisations - such as vegans and Jewish dietary law authorities - to classify the product as "dairy" rather than nondairy. Those who rely on this classification will either not consume the product (e.g. vegans) or will not use or consume it in conjunction with any meat products (e.g. observant Jews). As with other processed food products, low calorie and low fat versions are available for non-dairy creamers. The FDA has stated that products with sodium caseinate may contain low levels of lactose. As with many other powders, large amounts of powdered non-dairy creamer powder are susceptible to dust explosion when suspended in air. Amateur filmmakers and pyrotechnicians have taken advantage of this property to produce several types of fireball effects. Individuals using powdered non-dairy creamer in the ordinary amounts used in a cup of coffee do not face a risk of dust explosion. Coffee creamer powder has also been used for creating fake snow in television and movies.

Verghese Kurien speaks about the export of dairy products from India to western countries. He says, " "We have under operation flood made India self-sufficient in milk. It may surprise you to know we have exported to a country called the United States milk, cheese, gulab jamun and it's a raring hit I have exported dairy products to New Zealand because in each of these countries there are Asians, Indians for some reasons they think Amul cheese is better than the New Zealand cheese they are used to this flavor so our export this year would be about 11 crores rupees of dairy products. Lactose-free dairy: What is driving consumer preference?
Unlike in most other countries, lactose-free dairy products in Finland are mainstream options, widely available in supermarkets, restaurants and food service. Why is this? How can dairy manufacturers in other regions follow in Finland’s footsteps? To answer these questions, DSM conducted consumer research in Finland, Colombia and China, which – together with insights from dairy experts – resulted in 6 valuable recommendations for further developing the lactose-free dairy category. Start Consuming Less Dairy And Your Skin Will Thank You
How often do you consume dairy products? Dairy, even organic and varieties without added hormones, all contain natural hormones that can lead to acne. Remember, dairy only comes from pregnant cows, so you’re taking in the hormones from both the male and the female involved in the reproduction experience and the milk that is the result. Doctor Mark Hyman shares that there are over 60 hormones in one glass of of added hormone-free raw milk and who knows how many in other dairy products. How’s that for skin food? Acne is defined as skin breakouts that occur when the pores become clogged with dead skin cells or bacteria. Blackheads, whiteheads, cysts, and pustules are the result of these clogged pores. Acne is the most common skin condition in the United States. The American Academy of Dermatology estimates that acne affects 50 million people each year. While acne rates have risen, so has the rate of dairy and processed food consumption in the Western diet. Acne has many causes, and every person’s skin is different. But there’s significant evidence to support the idea that dairy can irritate or cause acne for some people. Cows’ milk can cause inflammation, leading to a double whammy effect on your skin. The hormones in milk can react with the testosterone in your body (ladies are no exception, they have testosterone too!). Hormonal changes in the bloodstream can cause bad breakouts—ahem, puberty—due to an increased sebum production. Sebum is the waxy substance secreted by pores to keep skin moist and pliable, but we know it as oil and a common pore-clogging culprit. Excessive sebum production leads to oily skin and pimples galore. The problems don’t stop there; scientists believe milk proteins such as whey and casein are also related to dairy acne. They both release a hormone called IGF-1, a growth hormone great for baby cows but bad for human skin. It makes calves grow big and strong, but it has the same effect on our pimples. IGF-1, which is similar to insulin, causes inflammation that leads to breakouts. Whey and casein are often added to skim milk to make it taste less watery; if you’re a big fan of milk but concerned about your complexion, try sticking to whole milk instead. Whole milk contains a number of acids great for boosting metabolism—unfortunately these acids also cause insulin levels to spike. Insulin increases the bloodstream sugar content, which can also trigger breakouts, so drink your whole milk in moderation. Want to know about other products that make your skin worse? Contaminated dairy products can damage the liver
A type of disease primarily infecting animals may transfer to humans through consumption of contaminated dairy products, experts say. Brucellosis, a disease caused by bacteria under the genus Brucella, often infects domesticated livestock such cattle, swine, goats, and sheep. But despite primarily affecting animals, the bacteria can potentially infect humans through direct contact with or ingestion of contaminated materials and animal products. Dairy products such as milk and cheese are known sources of the bacteria as these products are obtained directly from cattle. Animal meat, if not cooked thoroughly, may contain bacteria. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) infected individuals may experience a wide range of symptoms such as fever, headache, muscle and back pain or fatigue. Symptoms of the disease typically last from 5 days to a month. Experts add, beyond these usual symptoms, brucellosis could pose more harmful risks if not immediately treated. "Kapag hindi naagapan, pwedeng magka-abcess o infection ng mga organs like the liver, the other type naman could lead to disability (If not immediately treated, a person may suffer having an abscess, or the disease can infect organs like the liver. The other type could even lead to disability)," says microbiologist Dr. Windell Rivera. The World Health Organization (WHO) says complications brought by brucellosis could be more dangerous because of its ability to affect almost any organ system in the body. Experts however assure the public that the disease can be treated. According to CDC, generally the antibiotics doxycycline and rifampin are administered. But the public is warned to first consult medical experts. Beyond merely treating the disease, experts also advise undertaking precautionary measures. As much as possible, pasteurized milk or cheeses are to be preferred over raw counterparts in order to lessen the possibility of the disease. Further, experts say washing raw meat, fruits, and vegetables is will help minimize the germs. Ingredients must be cooked thoroughly so that most germs would be destroyed. Lastly, overall sanitary maintenance of kitchens could lessen the possibility of further contamination and contracting further harmful diseases.

What is DAIRY SALT? What does DAIRY SALT mean? DAIRY SALT meaning, definition & explanation
What is DAIRY SALT? What does DAIRY SALT mean? DAIRY SALT meaning - DAIRY SALT definition - DAIRY SALT explanation. SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ?sub_confirmation=1 Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. Dairy salt is a salt product used in the preparation of butter and cheese products that serves to add flavor and act as a food preservative. Dairy salt can vary in terms of quality and purity, with purer varieties being the most desirable for use in foods. Dairy salt has been used since at least the 1890s in England and the United States. In butter preparation, it serves to retain moisture, while in cheeses, it tends to reduce water content and slow the ripening process. Quality dairy salts have been described as having favorable solubility properties for use in butter and cheese, and the softness and form of the salt crystals is one of the determining factors of overall quality. The purity of dairy salt is defined by the amount of sodium chloride present in the product, and those with at least 98% sodium chloride have been described as being of sound purity. Highly pure dairy salt has a pure white coloration, a uniformity in grain, and lacks any offensive odors or bitter flavor. Dairy salt products of lower purity may have a bitter flavor and poor solubility. The use of impure dairy salt can have adverse effects upon butter, spoiling its flavor, grain, and preservation. Impure dairy salt can make cheeses bitter, reducing their value. Impurities that may occur in dairy salt include calcium sulphate, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, and to a lesser extent, sodium sulphate and magnesium sulphate. Dairy salt serves to retain moisture and increase the weight of butter products, adds flavor and serves as a preservative and antimicrobial, which can prevent bacterial contamination. Dairy salt used in butter preparation is sometimes referred to as butter salt and buttersalt. Dairy salt has been used in the preparation of cheeses. Its use can add flavor to cheeses, and it tends to reduce the water content in cheeses, which can influence the ripening process. The use of impure dairy salt can make cheeses bitter in flavor, reducing their value. The use of too much salt in cheese can adversely affect its flavor, resulting in a product with a mealy and dry texture that is slow to ripen. Dairy salt is used in Cheddar cheese, and serves to add flavor and reduce moisture. The reduction of moisture inhibits fermentation and slows the ripening process, which can produce a higher-quality cheese in terms of flavor and consistency.
