READ THE DESCRIPTION First off, I apologize for the lag spikes and low quality. My laptop and internet both suck. The first contraption shown is a very simple y-bud, which detects block updates on the same y-axis. This works during both day and night time. It also detects updates below the detector, which I forgot to show in the video. Since it will be activated as the sky light gets darker, the y-bud is attached to a circuit that only provides an output if it receives 2 or more updates in a short amount of time. Just above the y-bud is a button that extends a piston to activate the y-bud once and retracts after a delay so that it activates the y-bud a 2nd time, giving an output. The next contraption up not only updates the y-bud, but it also blocks off directs sky access to the inside of the device. This has no effect during the day, but at night this causes the y-bud to become a clock. Finally I compacted both the button and the clock switch into a single device. Both parts work fine, but again, the clock only works at night. Well, that's about all I can think to say about this. If you have questions or suggestions, let me know in the comments :)

READ DESCRIPTION FOR EXPLANATION I made it so 1 high mobs can get crushed while stopping most mobs from glitching through the crushing wall. 1 high mobs will also be kept in place with the fence. However, if a mob is pathfinding over the cobble fences, then they will be pulled out, as seen with the zombie. I couldn't think of an easy way to prevent that. Wither skeletons, however, I couldn't keep in there no matter what. I'm sure there's an easy way to crush all mobs without any escaping, but I wasn't able to find it, especially since I had the mob sweeper to take into account. It's better than the old system, but probably not by much. When the system is turned on initially, the left side doesn't appear to work, but after the first cycle it works normally.

I have created a functional day and night detector in Terraria. To get it working, simply allocate any town NPC to the house, and you're done. I made a guide on the T-MEC (Terraria Mechanical Engineering Corps) in which I describe in detail how the detecor works. Link to that here: http://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/functional-day-night-detector-using-town-npcs-the-first-of-its-kind.33196/

It was only a matter of time before I started uploading osu! videos to my channel. I'll only post plays that are special to me though, so don't expect me to adhere to any sort of upload schedule. Also because my internet is rubbish. Anyway, I've been trying this map for like a year and a half, and I finally passed it! The funny thing is that I almost passed it with HD a few days later, but I failed on some easy jumps near the end.
