How To Make: Lavender Oatmeal Soap for Eczema
Hi all! Today we will be showing you how to make a mild, calming melt and pour soap. The base we will be using are natural soap bases which are extremely mild and even suitable for sensitive and dry skin. However, since this base does not contain any chemicals; it also lacks a lot of foam and bubble (in commercial soap these are from sodium laureate sulphate (SLS)). But hey! this base is so mild and natural you can actually use it for babies too! In this recipe we use Natural Goats Milk base. Goats milk is rich in Selenium, which stops free radicals and other skin-damaging compounds before they can lead to wrinkles. It's similar to vitamin E and works together to protect your skin. Lavender has a lot of great properties when used in skincare. When used in soaps, it gives a calming and spa-like after effect, leaving you calm, more focused and relaxed while being great for your skin. Next we use oatmeal, that has been used for all kinds of skin conditions. Whether its acne or dry skin and eczema, oatmeal is used to calm, clean and moisturise the skin. It has saponins that help remove dirt from pores. It also has emollient properties (a quality that softens skin) just like lotions, which are great moisturisers DOWNLOAD FREE RECIPE HERE:http://www.soaplabmalaysia.com/2018/01/how-to-make-lavender-oatmeal-soap-for.html

How To Make: Lavender Honey Soap
INGREDIENTS: 1. SoapLab’s Honey Soap Base 2. Lavender Essential Oil 3. Vitamin E 4. Violet Color Pigment INFO: Lavender essential oil has many functions but for this soap it works as a soothing agent. Lavender works the best on iritated skin and in this soap it works as the ingredient that will soothe acne wounds and scars. Added together in this soap is honey from the honey soap base. HOW TO MAKE Apple, Aloe & Sage Solid Facial Cleanser (Moderate Acne)
Hi all:) For today we will be showing you a pore tightening facial cleanser for moderate levels of acne. One of the most common mistakes people with acne make are using harsh soaps that strip away natural oils in the skin. This leads to more sebum production and acne breakouts. We really encourage you to educate your customers about this so that they do not continue to irritate their skin unknowingly. For this facial wash we use witch hazel extract which is an astringent, meaning it helps tighten pores and regulate oil production. Next we use calming aloe extract to soothe inflamed skin and sage leaf essential oil which is a anti-microbial agent which controls bacteria that causes acne. Do keep in mind that if you have dry skin, this soap is not suitable for you and specially formulated for those with irregular oily skin that suffer from acne. Ingredients: (makes 350g soap) 350g SoapLab’s Aloe Vera Soap Base 2g Aloe Vera Extract 2g Apple Extract 5g Sage Leaf Essential Oil 2g Witch Hazel Distillate 1g Khaki Green Colour Pigment Glycerin Rubbing Alcohol Storage Container Download PDF Recipe: http://www.soaplabmalaysia.com/2018/03/how-to-make-apple-aloe-sage-solid.html

How To Make Soap for Itchy Skin: Aloe Vera, Almond & Calamine Soap Malaysia
Hi guys, today we area making another calming soap for your skin. This is a very basic combination of ingredients that will soothe just any skin type. We begin with a natural Aloe Vera base made by Soap Lab. To this, we also add aloe vera extract. Aloe vera is known for its soothing and cooling properties, and its also moisturising for the skin. Its commonly used for skin problems such as eczema for its healing and anti-inflammatory benefits. We then use calamine to treat itch and sunburns. Calamine lotion is a well known medication for sunburns and by using calamine powder in this soap, we are bringing the same benefits into the soap as well. We decided to use Almond fragrance oil for this soap, as it went so well with the mild scent of aloe vera...just slightly nutty and fresh. You will definitely love this.. How To Mix Lye & Milk for Cold Process Soap
In this example ill be teaching you how to add lye to other liquids like milk, juices, coffee etc. These liquids get 'burned' fast therefore it requires you to make sure the temperature is always low when in contact with lye. Lye usually heats up fast up to 100 degrees celciusn when in contact with liquid that is in room temperature. By freezing the liquid first and making sure its surrounded with ice bath it will make sure the lye solution stays at 40 degrees celcius max. This is to make sure the liquid doesnt burn and give unpleasant smell. If you would want to learn more about cold process soap making please visit www.soaplabmalaysia.com

How To Make: Anti Acne Healing Herb Natural Soap in Malaysia
Hi all, to those that have frequent acne breakouts we understand the struggle. Having to be extremely careful with your skin, even what you eat is a stressful process indeed. To help you out, we've come up with an acne fighting cold process soap recipe specifically formulated for acne prone skin. In this super simple soap, we use two key ingredients to combat acne and keep your skin healthy. Firstly, is aloe extract. Aloe extract is well known for its soothing properties. It is traditionally used by the ancient Indians to treat skin problems such as acne and psoriasis as well. Next we use basil sage mint essential oil. This essential oil combo does wonders for the skin. Basil helps perk up and improve dull skin tone while sage is astringent. A astringent is a property which helps clear scars and wounds. This is extremely useful to reduce acne scars. The mint gives a cooling sensation to soothe itchy skin and is antimicrobial. Dirt and microbes are leading causes of acne flares and mint helps combat this as well. Last but not least, we added in some green clover and aloe vera fragrance oil for the fresh scent you'll get and soon come to love. How To Make Soap For Dermatitis Skin: Creamy Coconut & Mango Soap
Hi all, our recipe today is a super simple melt and pour, but it is so luxurious you'll never want to buy commercial soaps anymore ;) Our base is a natural Three Butter Base, which we make in-house at SoapLab. It has mango, cocoa and shea butter; a trio that nourishes and moisturises your skin like no other! Next we use coconut oil for its anti-inflammation properties so that your skin is always protected from irritation from the outside world. We then add in some extra raw cocoa butter because we cannot resist how good it smells! well, the more important reasons are that cocoa butter has skin healing properties called cocoa mass polyphenols, which some studies show that it soothes sensitive skin suffering from dermatitis or rashes. Now that we've got our miracle moisturising soap ingredients, we add in some creamy coconut and mango papaya scent so you'll feel like you're on a tropical vacation all day long! DIY Baby Massage Oil (For dry & sensitive skin)
Hello! Today's recipe is one that we are most excited for in our baby series because we feel like we made the best baby oil recipe EVER! It can be used for all skin types, it's mild and super nourishing and protects your baby's skin from irritation and inflammation. We use a mixture of oils that are easily absorbed by baby skin along with some special herbs and essential oils. The oil combination we use here is olive oil, argan oil and sweet almond oil. Olive oil is filled with Vitamin A which helps protect your baby's skin and hair. We then use argan oil which adults love for its benefits for hair and skin is actually suitable for babies too! It conditions and nourishes baby skin and scalp and has linoleic acid which locks in moisture. Sweet almond oil is a hypoallergenic oil (this means it doesnt cause any reactions) and is a mild sweet smelling moisturizer safe to use by anyone. However, its not suitable for those with peanut allergy though. So be careful if you have peanut allergy! Next we use dried calendula that helps heal wounds from scratching while dried chamomile buds on the other hand reduce skin irritation and calms skin. For added benefits, we use Vitamin E to protect your baby's skin from environmental damages. We also use rose hip essential oil for it's fatty acid content that helps with eczema or regular dry skin too. By now, you must know why we looove this oil so much? Because it's packed with so many benefits which makes selling it is so easy! Ingredients: (makes 200g Baby Massage Oil) 70g Sweet Almond Oil 60g Olive Oil 60g Argan Oil 5g Dried Chamomile Buds 5g Dried Calendula 2g Rose Hip Oil 2g Vitamin E 5g Goodnight Baby Fragrance Oil Download PDF Recipe: http://www.soaplabmalaysia.com/2018/02/diy-baby-massage-oil-for-dry-sensitive.html

Handmade Natural Shampoo for Babies How To Make
How To Make: Shampoo For Little Humans.. Hi guys! We have another shampoo recipe to share with you today. This one is our in-house favourite. Maybe its the coconut oil effect that everyone loves? Its so easy to make mainly because, who doesn't have coconut oil at home? The name suggests that this shampoo is to be use for babies, but since there are only natural ingredients and nothing more, this shampoo is actually suitable for all ages, including babies. We use our SoapLab liquid shampoo base to begin with. For this recipe, we've chosen coconut oil. Usually we use oils as a conditioner before shower, which you should continue to use of course... the reason we are also adding it into our shampoo is for extra nourishment. As our hair tends to get weaker after washing and more prone to breakage when wet, having oils in your shampoo really helps to prevent this. Coconut oil is one of the only oils known to strengthen and increase the protein content in your hair which is why we are using this oil here. If your hair is prone to breakage, this shampoo is perfect for you! The fragrance we have chosen is Baby Clean for a light floral and fresh scent. Can we use fragrance oil in baby products? Yes! We dont use essential oils for babies that are 1 year and below so alternatively we use fragrance oil. Click here to read why. Plus, we add in Vitamin E which is known to encourage hair growth and is very commonly used in high end hair care products. INGREDIENTS 190g SoapLab’s Coconut Liquid Soap Base 10g Coconut Oil 10g Polysorbet 80 4g Cetyl Alcohol 3g Baby Clean Fragrance Oil 1g Vitamin E Additive 2g SoapLab’s D-Pantenol Additive 2g Glycerin DOWNLOAD RECIPE IN PDF:http://www.soaplabmalaysia.com/2018/01/handmade-natural-shampoo-for-babies-how.html

How To Make: Dry Skin Cold Process Soap (Smooth & Sweet Strawberry Soap)
Hi guys! In today's recipe, we have created another cold press soap. This time it is for dry and sensitive skin. We created this recipe because we really understand the pain of having dry skin that gets flaky and sometimes itchy when using harsh chemical substances. We've formulated our recipe with one star ingredient, strawberries. Strawberries are high in vitamin C and antioxidants that help nourish your skin. They help minimise ageing that dry skin tends to speeded up. We use fresh strawberry juice to maximise the benefits of strawberries in the recipe. Next we use kaolin clay as the cleansing agent which cleanses pores and allows skin to breathe and produce natural sebum to hydrate itself. Rose Hip oil is rich in fatty acids to moisturise and nourish your skin. It prevents skin dryness and reduces sensitivity as well. All in all, this recipe will help moisturise and protect your sensitive skin so you don't have to worry anymore.
